I just received these Ariat Spitfire slip ons today and have been wearing them for about 4 hours. These shoes fit perfect and are the most comfortable out of the box shoes I have ever worn. I wear a size 9E in tennis shoe/cross trainer New Balance etc. and that is what I ordered. They fit exactly the same. But they are more comfortable. From what I have read from other reviews these shoes are well made and hold up excellent to wear and tear. And so easy to slip into, just a little tug on the rear loop to put them on and a little tug on the front loop to take them off. They do not put excessive pressure on the foot which adds to the comfort, the width is perfect, but they fit just snug enough around the top to hold them on with no sloppiness or loose fit. I am looking forward to wearing them for a long time. And a bonus, they look terrific. These shoes are worth the price. Addendum: The shoes fit snug, which I believe is necessary to hold them on and eventually I expect the leather will stretch a bit with wear. However in colder weather this snugness seems to cut the circulation in my feet a bit and my feet get cold. In warmer weather I don't see this as a problem but in winter, I don't wear them as much on account of getting cold feet in them.

To start with I do landscaping and lawn maintenance for a living so to say I am hard on shoes/boots is an understatement and I ride a stand up mower daily so I’m on my feet an average of 6-9 hours a day. They get wet in the mornings with dew on the grass, rained on, go through light mud, walk a ton on asphalt/concrete, get beat on from the slinging debris from the weed eater and edger ect. Most shoes or boots either start to come apart at the seems or the sole will wear out, one or the other within 3 months and these are on the 3 month mark now with the soles still in good shape and the shoe is staying together. I was a little skeptical of the very thin sole on these to last very long but they are doing extremely well. I did order another set so that as soon as these kick the bucket I have a set for back up. Even if they wore out within the 2 month mark I would still get these shoes. They are the most comfortable work shoes I have ever had, and I have had everything from Justin boots, Rocky’s, twisted x, slide on, lace ups, driving mocks to waterproof on clouds and they hold up like boots but the weight, wear and feel is that of a an on cloud tennis shoe or better. The soles are super soft and they are super light and very durable, they are a must if you are on your feet a lot! Don’t hesitate to buy these, great shoes!

Got these for my dad and he loved them. Shoes never fit right for him so he was shook they fit perfectly and he loved this style of shoe. He said they were comfortable and he’s worn them everyday for almost a year. They have gotten beat to hell since he’s non stop doing things even at 64. He recently got some type of colored leather conditioner and somewhat restored the color/look of them but they’re about shot. Shoes don’t last over a year for him so they’re average wear and certainly not trash material. He complains about shoes being expensive and hates that he has to spend $100 on shoes every year because he’s a dad and dads are cheap, he’d rather spend money on his lawn lol. I plan on being his shoe supplier and gift him a new pair when his wear out so he never has to worry about shoe prices again.

Out of the box wore on a short trip. Lots of walking and standing. They were great. No breakin. Sizing spot on. Casual that could be dressed up slightly. Had similar merrels just as comfy not as dressy but great casual. Will update later.

Great company to buy products from. Have bought boots and shoes like this and don’t have anything to complain about. These shoes are amazing , I have another pair just over 2.5yrs of these spitfires and I have gotten them in water and dirt and they held up great no tips or detachment of any sort. I highly recommend these shoes , they were super comfortable, had to get a second pair. No regrets.

I have been wearing Ariat boots for years, and I own seven pairs now including both work boots and dress boots. Every single one has fit perfectly right out of the box and they are always comfortable and built to last. That is why I did not hesitate to order these Spitfire H2O shoes. Unfortunately, this pair does not fit the way I expected. I wear an 8.5 EE in all my other Ariats, but these feel really tight, especially across the instep. The insole also feels odd, not what I am used to from Ariat. I am hoping they will break in and loosen up over time, but right now they are uncomfortable enough that I am not too confident they will. The quality looks solid, the stitching and materials are what you would expect from Ariat. But for the first time the fit and comfort just are not there for me. If you plan to buy these, I would recommend trying them on in person or going up a half size. I am still a big Ariat fan, but this pair just did not deliver the comfort I have always counted on.
