I have been paying $200 per pair for my favorite jeans for over 10 years. After ordering a few pairs of Ariats at well below that price I find that they fit better with absolute consistency and feel much more like old school denim than my high priced designer jeans. I now have seven pair. Absolutely first rate quality (the denim is typically heavy and will last a lifetime) and the most consistent sizing I have ever seen. No vanity sizes, just the real thing. Order what you "really" wear which in my case is a 34x34 even though in my formally favorite brand I ordered 33x36. OK, I've gained a few pounds even though the 33's still fit fine in the old brand, but I haven't grown 2" taller. My only complaint is that the "boot cut" versions are wide at the bottom and the extra wide boot cut jeans look like bell bottoms from the 70s. I wear them most of the time with cowboy boots and the straight legs will easily fit over any boot on the market, the boot cuts look great if you get the right inseam but the wider boot cuts are probably going to rip on the bottom. I don't care since these are such great jeans for an exceptional price. I am 5'10" and weigh 190 lbs. and I prefer the 34x34's unless I want some tight jeans in which case I order the 33x34's. Great product and great service by Amazon as always!

I hadn't ordered pants from Ariat before, so it took a few tries to get the ones that fit correctly. Good thing, I have a wife that let's me know what looks correct. I didn't know which style of pants were going to fit which way. After a few tries the M5 was perfect. Sizes on all I tried were on the money for size, but the fit was either too loose in the thigh or seat. All returns were handled fantastic, the orders were quick, so this whole process worked very well.

It seems that all Ariat jeans are sized differently. I have two pairs now, one 33 width and one 32 - had to return these ones twice and get a 36 - and no, I haven’t gotten fatter. Heads up when ordering from this specific shipper - these things STINK. I don’t know if they have skunks as guard dogs, a quality control guy who checks these out on a 95 degree day, on blacktop after wrestling a pigs third cousin, or they fumigate their warehouse with stink bombs - but damn. I had to wash the ones I wanted to keep three times, before soaking them in axe body spray and hanging them off then back of my truck at 70 miles per hour so that if I were to ever commit a crime, the bloodhound couldn’t just sit down and point me out with less effort than a monkey trying to impregnate a football. My favorite jeans, by far though. Would buy again.

This exact product is described as: ARIAT Men's M5 Slim Stackable Straight Leg Jeans This is not what was sent to me. I ordered two sizes “32 x 32” and “32 x 34” to see which would fit better over my boots. What I received were two pairs of Ariat Legacy M5 “STRAIGHT FIT” Straight leg jeans which are NOT slim straight leg jeans. Straight fit is, well straight fit, which is considerably wider than slim fit. I am tall and skinny (with no butt) which means I look like a clown in these jeans! Haha! The feel of the jeans is awesome. Nice and thick. But I have chicken legs, not NFL linebacker thighs and calves. My reason for a 1 star review is because the description says “slim stackable” and the picture on Amazon looks like what I wanted. That’s not what I got. So now I can’t really trust buying these jeans (which I really wanted) on Amazon because I would probably get the same straight leg jeans again instead of the slim fit ones I am looking for.
