My fiance loves Ariat jeans. They're his go-to brand for work, and for when he's off work as well. They can be a bit on the pricey side, and because of the nature of his job (working outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions, in mud and cow stuff, running and sometimes repairing heavy equipment, etc), he goes through jeans quickly. I was thrilled to find these in his size at such a low price! It's the lowest price I've found so far, and the quality is the same as if I'd paid more for them, so it's a great deal. I'm going to keep an eye out for more of the jeans at that price because he's always needing new jeans, and the quality of this brand just can't be beat. They're made for what he does (farm work), so that really makes them the best choice, especially at this price! I've paid close to double in some stores, but from now on I'll always check Amazon first before buying new pairs. I personally don't wear this brand of jeans, but I do wear their socks and shirts, and I love the quality and fit. My fiance likes the fit of Ariat jeans because most of the styles are still boot cut, even when it was nearly impossible to find many boot cut options in other brands. Given the chance, I will definitely order more from Amazon at that price! For reference, he is around 6'2" and approximately 220-225 lbs. I ordered a size 38x34 and they fit perfectly. Length-wise he can also wear 38x32, but he prefers the longer length to wear over his work boots. They're not tight in the legs by any means, but also they're not super loose, and they're a snug fit in the waist (which is also his preference). He just recently went from a size 36 waist to a 38, so if you're in doubt, I would consider sizing up like he did because overall it was a good choice. The 36 waist is just a bit too tight now, and the 38 waist looks (and feels) much better. The one thing I will say about this brand is to be cautious of the stretch jeans because the fit with those can be different, but that applies to pretty much all brands of jeans (for example, I wear Hudson jeans, but the stretchy fit is not flattering on me). Ariat has a lot of various styles and this one is not stretchy, or durastretch, as they call it, and that's exactly what we were looking for. The durastretch jeans tend to get baggy with just a few hours of wear so the fit isn't as consistent throughout the day, but this style kind of stays put, so to speak. Just a word of caution there, but of course that's just a matter of preference. We both keep a pair of two of stretchy jeans around for those days when you just feel like you need a little give - like thanksgiving day (especially right after dinner), for example. Overall, these jeans are the best in terms of quality, and in this case in terms of value as well, and I will definitely order more in the very near future.
