    • Hard to find a sweatshirt that comes in Tall

I have a 6’5” 17 year old. He’s long and lanky, especially in the torso and arms. It seems every sweatshirt we have tried eventually shrinks up so the arms are a inch or two above his wrists and the torso just isn’t covering as it should. So frustrating. We finally stumbled upon the fact that Ariat carry’s Large Tall. Hallelujah! It is now our go-to brand for attire for my tall, lean boy. We don’t even mess around with other brands anymore. Jeans and sweatshirts…Ariat has become his brand of choice. While the price point is up there, if you catch a sale it is worth it. We have not experienced crazy shrinkage like with other brands that charge just as a much for their hoodies, nor have I seen any pilling of the fabric over time. They have held up so well to my teenagers life, and he isn’t one I would describe as being easy on clothing. Additionally, my son is lean and lanky…not bulky. With this hoodie there isn’t a lot of extra girth fabric, so it doesn’t end up with a ton of extra bulk around the middle. It is perfect for his build. My only complaint is that I would like to see Ariat offer a wider variety of colors and designs for their hoodies. ... show more

Would have given 5 stars but the strings for the hood came in gray instead of the color pictured on the site. Although it doesn’t affect how the item wears it’s annoying getting something that is somewhat different than what you ordered. The item is true to size, comfortable, and washes well.
