Jeans that can handle the heat. The 100% ring spun cotton denim is flame resistant and hrc 2 rated. They're dark washed with light hand sanding and tacking to give them a worn in look. Tailored with a lower-rise waist, straight leg opening and extra relaxed fit through the thigh. These jeans feature no-rub comfort inseams, extra deep front pockets and anchored belt loops. Apt 20, NFPA 70e, NFPA 2112 rated.

Ny two complaints are the zippers that refuse to stay up(remedied with a key ring attached the button) and the pockets. Theres a point when theres just too many pockets. Ariat has found and exceeded that point. I love carpenter jeans to throw dikes and a screwdriver in, but i find myself misplacing stuff or sticking my phone or wallet in one ofthe shallow pockets on accident and losing them. Over all not bad for fr, and seem much better made than others, but i will try to find somethin a bit less excessive next time. Maybe a different style because they are durable. ... show more

The only thing I don't like is the boot cut bottoms. I wear hiking boot style steel toes these are a bit long. These are comfortable, fairly thin compared to the denim style FR's. Definitely need thermals underneath on cold windy days. I like the extra pockets.

I recently purchased a pair of ARIAT Flame Resistant pants and I couldn't be happier with my purchase. As an overly worked and ruggedly handsome husband and father, I needed a pair of pants that could keep up with my abuse, not wear thin and still be comfortable. These pants exceeded my expectations in all of those areas. The material is durable and has held up well to daily wear and tear. Additionally, the pants are extremely comfortable, with a relaxed fit that allows for plenty of movement. I was also pleased to find that the pants are breathable and don't cause my important bits to sweat uncontrollably. The added bonus of having a lower likelihood of my pants catching on fire is a comforting plus. Despite the price, I will be buying another pair as soon as my wife allows me to spend my overtime money on another pair. If you wear a 34/30 I would consider ordering a 33/30. They have not shrunk on me. Usually most apparel does & these did not. Overall good product from ariat. Can’t find these in local stores unfortunately to try on so Amazon it was
