I ordered these for me as I have kid size feet. I ordered my normal size and when I tried on they were to big. I did not realize they had a sole that can be removed for room for kids feet to grow which made them to big for me. I had to put an extra memory foam insert along with the original just so they would fit just a tad better. I am so happy this company recognizes little feet need solid protection too. We have horses and live stock and a large ranch, and the kids can keep up with the adults so they need boots that can keep up with them. These do that and then some! Ariat is the first brand where the kid's out grew the boot before the boot wore out, and they live in them! The tall silhouette protects their ankles. Their toes are protected without bulk or heavy weight and the soles are solid. My girls even like to match Mom, and they like that their shoes look like mine when working around the horses. I BOUGHT THESE BOOTS SEVERAL YEARS AGO, THEY HAVE BEEN THROUGH IT ALL! STILL MY GO TO BOOTS (HOLES AND WORN OUT) FOR AN ONLINE PURCHASE THE DISCRIPTION AND SIZE ARE A TRUE FIT. THERE ISNT MUCH SUPPORT FOR ARCH, BUT INSERTS WOULD HELP WITH THAT. WILL PURCHASE AGAIN.

The sizing chart is definitely off on these boots. I measured my daughters feet and based off the chart ordered a size 10.5. They are about a size too big. Bummer, because her old riding boots no longer fit. Oh well, she’s wearing 2 pairs of socks while riding, and they stay on her feet fine. I will say they are BEAUTIFUL boots and we saved our pennies to buy them so she could have good riding boots. These boots are absolutely adorable. The purple color is exactly as shown, but the pink on the inside of the boot is more of a hot pink, which in my opinion looks even cuter than the kind of duller pink shown. The boots are true to size - my daughter wears a size 1 and I originally ordered a 1 because I thought boots ran larger and I wanted her to have room to grow, but the 1's fit her perfectly so I returned them and got a size 2, which does give her room to grow a little. I can't personally comment on how comfortable they are, but my 8 year old wore them every day to school and around the house after she got them, with every style of outfit, even when it was super hot out and she loves them. Price was average for this style of boot, and based on the quality of them I would definitely purchase this brand for her again! ... show more

Amazing boot for the price. I realized I’d been buying “Cheap” boots for my daughter, but they would immediately get torn up, even prior to outgrowing them on many occasions. These boots were a heck of a buy. They look amazing and they’ll last far longer than her foot will fit in them, BUT they have the extra sole in there to squeeze more time out for a growing foot. Plus, we can sell them for probably have the price when she’s outgrown them. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I will note I’ve thing though; the sole picks up goat heads because it’s a slightly softer materiel, I imagine because of the builder’s effort to keep the weight down. ... show more

This is the second pair for my daughter. Wonderful boots that she outgrew before she could destroy them. Trust me when I say she wore them everywhere! They fit pretty much as expected, and I went by her normal shoe size. They wear nicely and stood up to many muddy days. She also got many compliments on them. Colors are very bright and beautiful.
