Description

Season after season, the 1800 Arctix Women's Insulated Snow Pants serve as an outstanding value priced ski/snow pants and a versatile cornerstone of the Arctix line. These pants feature a 100% Polyester Dobby shell with ThermaLock W/R + W/P 3000mm Coating, offering a maximum degree of durability and protection from the elements, while allowing a full range of motion. 85 grams ThermaTech Insulation offers warmth in a lightweight, low bulk garment, keeping you warm at temperatures from -20° to +35° depending on your level of activity. DWR finish (Durable Water Repellent) helps repel water from fabric surface. The adjustable waist ensures a comfortable fit, while boot zippers make them easy for on and off access over boots. Boot gaiters with grippers form a seamless integration with the boots to keep the warmth in, and the moisture out. These relaxed fit pants also include 600 Denier Ballistic reinforced ankle, scuff and hem guards to hold up against daily wear & tear, and conveniently has an O-ring for keys, gloves and/or lift tickets. The pants provide zippered hand warmer style pockets, a zippered fly, and belt loops. They are water and wind resistant, and are machine washable. Sizing options include a Short 29" inseam (5'1" – 5'4" heights), Regular 31" inseam (5'5" – 5'8"), and Tall 33" inseam (5'9" – 6'1").

I may be scrawny but I am also curvy and I LOVE that there are Velcro tabs at the waist for added control over the fit. Further, the rise is relative low and the pants have proportions which are perfect for those who are petite yet have a distinct waist hips. If you are tiny and love (for example) jeans by Miss Me, these are for you. These are warm, comfortable and do not look like cheesy shiny plastic pants. Oh joy! You can bend freely at the knee. Honestly the ski pants are really good. There's quality protection at leg cuff and at the heel. The knees are not reinforced visibly but the quality of the material gives me the impression it will hold up to a lot of wear and tear. Does have a quality heavy feel to the product. My expectation with this product is that it will hold up to the coldest Minnesota snow days or the long days at the ski hill. I do like the metal clasp style buttons.... They will not pop open while skiing or playing in the snow. Very good product and recommend it. I would have given it five stars but or was a noticeable hole near the stitched logo so I had the hassle of sending them back. I did reorder another pair of the same style. ... show more

They arrived on time. They are warm and very comfortable I tried them on over my sweatpants. I am 5ft 8 inches weight 189. I got the 2X regular as I sized up normally I take a 1x. The pockets are not large enough to hold a cell phone, but that’s not the place for one. There is velcro on the sides on the waste to tighten if needed. As others have mentioned I probably could use a belt. They are a little tight in the butt when bending completely. I don’t have to worry about them fitting over my boots. They are prefect for me. I am new to the cold weather snow first time I purchased something like this I feel they are of good quality. ... show more

I’ve been victim to my parents’ collection of hand-me-down snow clothing for my entire life and after years of wearing the baggiest and most unflattering clothing, I finally ordered my first pair of snow pants that are actually super cute, well-fitting, and inexpensive! I am 5’4” and my inseam is 29” and my waist is 24”. I ordered the White in X-Small Short and it fits perfectly. When putting them on they feel well-insulated and warm. I picked up the Small Short pair of these since I’m going to be trying out snowboarding here pretty soon. Great quality for the price and super warm. I’m 5’2, 128lbs and still have plenty of room to layer under them. It’s super hard for me to find pants that are short enough for me but these are perfect. They have a really nice elastic belt so you can adjust the sides as well. Haven’t tried them out in the snow yet but planning to update after I do! ... show more

I love these snow pants so much for everyday activities living in rural PA during the winter. They have a slightly adjustable waist so I don’t have to use a belt on them. They can be bought in tall sizes so they always reach all the way down my legs so no snow gets in. Plus they can be zipped open at the bottom to allow for bigger boot tops and it looks slimming! I just bought my 2nd pair and I’m gonna buy my mom a set now. I haven’t had any trouble with smells, tears, stains, getting wet - they have no faults. I can’t find any better ones. ... show more

    • Great snow pants for the price

I bought these for my daughter before we went to Alaska on vacation, and they work fantastic. When I pulled them out of the box, you could tell they were made with quality material. I have spent most of my life in Colorado and have purchased tons of expensive snow pants. Not anymore though. Ill be buying my own pair of these. She in fact would over heat from time to time. She stated they kept here warm every time she wore them. They also kept her dry as well. We did a few days in the snow, and a Dog Sledding adventure on another, and not a drop of water got in there.
