this is an entertaining toy with lots of motion but it is also a bit loud and could do with slightly higher quality. It is still a pretty good toy and really entertained the kids in my preschool class. I only bring it out once in a while due to the noise but most of them seem to like it a lot.

    • Fun, but not perfect, toy
There’s a lot to like about this. It’s super cute and has provided a lot of fun for both my son and myself - catching the little falling balls is randomly very addicting. And, this is a first, the song that plays on loop is pretty catchy and pleasant to listen to (unfortunately, you can’t turn the sound off or adjust the volume). The gameplay is a lot like a plinko machine and my 3 year old son is entranced by it every time we play with it. There are a few downsides though. The balls have a tendency to fall to the two bottom corners where the arm cannot reach at all, so there are a couple of spots where it’s impossible to catch. It’s a simple design error I’m surprised they didn’t fix. Also, there’s no way to keep score or anything. In fact, all the balls (whether they’re caught or not) just go to the same area at the bottom so you can’t keep track of which ones you’ve collected. Aside from that, this is a great toy. It’s a good size (it’s small, but not too small) and doesn’t take up too much space in the playroom. ... show more

This is a very nostalgic mini arcade claw machine. It takes 3AA batteries which are not included. I love the size of it. It’s perfect for a little hands. It is simple to put together out of the box. Four legs snap on and the top is really not needed. It just makes it look pretty also just slides in its slot. It also works without the legs as well. I do have two cons. The first one is that when the balls drop and go all the way to the sides. It is impossible to catch them with the wheel arm. It’s just not long enough. Second is the manual spinner. It’s supposed to make the item worn without the batteries however it is non functional and is only there for looks. The wheel spins easily and the music is not overly annoying. My 4 year old seems pretty entertained with this. It's really light weight though (very cheap plastic) so the whole things moves when he tries to catch the balls which frustrates him. I'd give it a higher rating if it was the $10-$15 it's worth, but at this price point, absolutely not.

It's not really a "claw" machine but rather a steering game to try and get the ball to go where you want it to go. It's a bit complicated, and can be manually tilter, so only a 4. That said, loads of fun even though it doesn't function exactly as I would want or expect, and my great niece is enthralled. ... show more

This game tosses me back to high school. It's easy to assemble, comes with a mini screwdriver, which is an amazing addition, and is actually quite fun to play. My kids get hours of entertainment from it each day HOWEVER, it's loud, and the carnival music plays on a fifteen second loop, so maybe don't play it around where you're trying to get anything else done, because it's distracting. You can take the legs off and push the speaker against a towel to deaden it, however. I'd recommend it. ... show more
