After playing for 4 years it took me another 4 years to get through this book, but at the end I was playing Carnival of Venice and Flight of the Bumble Bee double and triple tonguing. Trumpet is easy to play and difficult to be very proficient. If you are a serious player, then this is the book you already have or should have. It will challenge you to excellence. ... show more

It's an Advanced study after Beginner, book. Cost is more expensive than beginning books on Trumpet. Good product.

I can't believe this thing is still in print. I had one in high school long ago. I recently got back into playing after years away from my trumpet. Lots of good exercises to rebuild my chops. Worth the money.

The book has a lot of content that was beyond my abilities. I am starting to relearn how to play trumpet after 50 years. I have to start with elementary information.

If you are a serious trumpet player I highly recommend this book. This is the book my sons college trumpet instructor had him get and they use it every week. Using this for practice has helped him improve a lot. Get this for your trumpet player

if you need the Arban book, this is the product for you. If you're not sure if you need the Arban book, you probably don't need it. Yet.
