New to this brand, so I wasn’t sure what to expect... but these are actually really nice. Heel is low enough for everyday stuff - school runs, errands, whatever - but still looks a little dressed up. Leather came out of the box soft, not that stiff “break me in” feel. Zipper makes them easy on/off, which I appreciate-snug around the ankle without rubbing.     • Gorgeous...but thin soles call durability into serious question
Size: 6.5 Color: Navy Suede
First things first: these are *beautiful* little boots: the upper material, in particular, is classy and is pretty much guaranteed to look good with all sorts of outfits, from business-dressy to out-on-the-town. That being said: 1) These shoes seem to run narrow. On a regular-width foot, they fit uncomfortably close. 2) The sole of the boot is easily among the *thinnest* I've ever seen on ANY shoe...which immediately rules out daily wear. You'll only be able to wear these on special occasions...and not very many before they start to wear out. Even if your plan is to get these repaired – assuming you can repair them – it's among the most expensive repairs you can make on a shoe. I started to give these three stars – I consider potential durability to be a critical factor in a shoe – but I remembered that some buyers are more appearance-oriented, so I reluctantly cast it as four, instead. I can't give these my usual recommendation: it'll be up to you to decide on whether these shoes' looks and your intended use-cases outweigh their potential negatives. ... show more
