Awesome water jug! Helps me to get an all my water throughout the day which is often a struggle for me. It’s very durable and I have even dropped it on concrete where there was a noticeable scratches on the green part, but now I don’t see the scratches any longer. This jug is definitely seems like a right-handed jug so if you’re left-handed, I’m not sure if this will work because of the placement of the drinking nozzle. My only complaint is the tiny hole that allows air to leave the bottle when you’re drinking, whistle’s which sounds a little bit funny. It’s not a big deal but I just wish it was more quiet. This product is awesome! Perfect for taking water to work. I put a large cup of ice in and then fill with water. I have cool then room temp water all day in my office, which suits me fine. Fits in my messenger bag perfectly. This is the second one I've bought. I love the colors. Wish I could find the blue. Don't expect more than what it is. It's not insulated, so its not meant to keep things cold forever. Its not indestructible, so don't beat on it like it is. I’ve owned at least 4 of these. They have all cracked eventually from being dropped. But I keep going back to aquajug because other water bottles just aren’t as good! Pros: -half gallon so can carry around a day’s worth of water and easily track if I’m drinking enough, no need to refill multiple times -Large easy-to-open spout for chugging water (can do one handed). I hate water bottles with straws or screw-tops -Spout closes securely without leaking (I’m not having to use all my strength to get it to snap shut like others) -small screw top lid so less likely to misalign and cause a leak (my other brand’s top is huge and often pours water down my front if not lined up perfectly) -lightweight -large handle -strap for carrying on your wrist if needed -no timeline on the side telling me when to drink -the first time it broke the company replaced it for free Cons: -Won’t keep water cold in summer -eventually will crack and be unusable ... show more

Was initially excited to have a 1/2 gallon water jug to help keep track of water intake. One accidental drop on my floor and the bottom shattered out and, thankfully just water, flooded my kitchen floor. A half gallon mind you. That’s a lot. 1 drop from about 2.5 feet, and it broke. Brand new. Not a few months old and such. 1 Less than 24 hours after delivery. Do not buy! The point of plastic is it’s supposed to be durable and stand up to drops and bumps. Especially if you’re at the gym or hiking or wherever. The materials used to form this jug are brittle and not reliable at all. ... show more

Before I got this jug, I would buy 20oz bottles of water at work before I travelled to the gym. I preferred the sports tops because it's easier for me to drink out of compared to the standard bottle opening. I needed a permanent bottle and was skeptical about the wide-mouth design, but it does allow for easy water consumption. This is very important, for me, during my short recoveries between sets at the gym. I would rehydrate to the point that I would gulp down half of my 20oz water during my first recovery (usually 3 during the hour); with this bottle I have more than enough. I do have a few negatives. For one, it can and will weigh down my gym bag. I have to wait until I get to work to fill the bottle up because it will add unnecessary weight combined with other items in my bag and hurt my shoulder during my commute. Before I go to the gym, I fill it halfway... Two, the air hole at the top of the bottle makes a loud, high-pitched sound. It isn't too annoying, but I always get self-conscious when I drink from it in a generally quiet environment. ... show more

Water bottle was fine except fo the cheap way the handle was attached to the bottle. It broke after a couple of weeks fo no ill use of the bottle. Dont buy it unless you dont care about there being a handle on your bottle. Its shameful how poorly that handle was attached. It should be detachable or made from a different material. I recently purchased this water bottle and I was excited because of the large size, which means less frequent trips to fill it. While the water bottle is quite large and dishwasher safe (my main reason for purchasing this water bottle), the bottle is very hard to fill up using the bottle fillers at the gym. It also makes a loud noise when you drink from it. Lastly, I put the bottle in my bag, sealed tight, yet it still managed to leak. As mentioned previously, the main reason I purchased this bottle was because it is dishwasher safe, but I wish I had of purchased a different one and just washed it by hand.
