I waited a long time to upgrade/ replace my old aquariums. Now I see I waited way too long. My new tanks have stunningly clear glass. My fish look like they are swimming in air. The filtration system is amazingly effective. The customer support is outstanding. As I was setting up the filtration system for the first time , I texted them with a question. Because it was evening after hours, I did not expect to hear back until the next business day. They got right back to me that evening with the answer and solution I needed. There were two issues with my setup and both were blamed on an "upgraded" version. For starters, I did not buy any upgraded version. I bought what was listed which was even supported by the assembly instructions. First issue was the overflow. None of the designed silencer parts which were shown on the site, their YouTube videos, and in my instruction manual, were included. As seen in my picture, the overflow is about 2 feet tall. One can imagine the noises the waterfall and subsequent cyclone make. When I asked them about it, they blamed it on the upgraded version and refused to send me the parts which clearly belong there, as evident by the threaded pipe. Second issue was the sump inlet pipe. The overflow feeds the inlet pipe on the right side. The pipe then travels across the sump to the left and finally turns into the top filtration compartment of the sump, where it simply slumps in. There is nothing to prevent it from falling into the filtration compartment. This causes the pipe to slump onto the filtration media which very quickly clogs. No matter how much I inquired, they simply told me this was by design and eventually ignored my communication. The only reason for 2 stars is that the quality of aluminum frame, gloss panels, as well as aquarium itself is great. p.s. Every sump compartment is labeled with English as well as Chinese words. They are etched and painted in the glass so they're impossible to remove. It does not bother me as it's only seen during maintenance, but it's worth noting. ... show more
