The Apple leather watch band is one of the most comfortable leather bands on the market. The lack of a metal clasp makes it substantially less bulky than one that has a clasp. The magnetic clasp is more than strong enough to hold the watch on your wrist without having to worry about it falling off. The only reason I’m buying this is as a replacement for the previous Apple leather band that lasted a good 7 years. That after having worn it everywhere; ocean, lakes, hiking, biking. I would recommend using the silicone strap with the button clasp for all those activities since those aren’t the best places to wear the leather band, but it held up for years nonetheless. I’d definitely recommend Apple’s leather band.

The stock band I received with my black series 8 is nice but never satisfied with fit. Next hole was a bit too tight, other hole a bit too loose. This band fits my wrist perfectly. The original band is not the most comfortable on warm humid days either, I believe the materials and space between bumps on this band will be more comfortable. Will revise this review if not. BTW, I got this for a significant discount on Amazon not realizing it was a used like new band. Moved too fast when I saw price I guess. However, glad I did as it is like new as described including packaging.

This is a genuine Apple leather link band in beautiful Dark Cherry. Amazon’s Apple Store is the only place I’ve found one new as it’s from a previous collection. I just got the Series 8 watch and don’t like any of the current band colors and was sad I missed the Dark Cherry line. I was wary from other comments, but the packaging I received was in great condition and was never opened. Look at reviews on knockoff leather link bands - they don’t compare at all to Apple’s in terms of fit and quality and it is one of the few bands reviewers say is worth the extra price. So far it’s very comfortable and the 41mm M/L band fits my 165mm wrist perfectly.

I can never find the perfect balance between firm fitting on my wrist and loose enough to be comfortable. Which means, I do fidget with it to find a perfect fit. Which is easy to do once you have a feel for how it works. I also find my self playing with the strap. Being magnetic, it’s easy to peal back and let it strap. Very satisfying.

What this watch band has going for it is the fact that it is easily, way better than most aftermarket leather/magnetic bands you can find for $20 and under. The $99 price point is a little absurd for what you get with this band. The durability does not seem to be there. Small cuts have already started appearing after wearing it for two day. After wearing it for a couple of hours, I find myself having to readjust the band for a tighter fit. I am not sure why, but it gets lose by itself. I took it to a trampoline park and lost it, so I would not recommend wearing this if you’re being fairly active. I of course found it in the pile of soft cubes. That was 100% my fault, as I should’ve known better. The four stars for this is because I do not feel as though this is a band worthy of $100. It feels great on the wrist and it is very satisfying when you get it wrapped perfectly. But constantly having to readjust the band tighter is annoying. Maybe making the magnets stronger would prevent this. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to keep the factory Apple look with a leather band and to anyone who doesn’t want to ultimately end up buying 2-3 3rd party bands, only to realize they are awful quality and should’ve just bought an Apple band.

The ease and seem less use of putting on and taking off this watch is amazing. The magnetic strip works so well and doesn’t loosen once it’s fastened on. I haven’t had any issues at all with it getting caught on anything where my watch falls off because the magnets don’t hold. The quality of the leather is nothing unexpected coming from Apple other than high quality. It’s super comfortable and the color is a perfect blue. I would highly recommend this strap as it is highly superior to other straps being low profile yet such a being a beautiful band.
