I tried the much cheaper alternatives and frankly they are flimsy or the magnets are very weak and do not support stand mode. The Apple version is $50 vs $10 to $25 but it works. I use my iPad mini everyday and keep it for years so I want a decent cover and stand.

The case fits the iPad perfectly. I have not had the sharp edge or overhang issue that other users have had. I also like that, compared to the previous ipad covers, this one has a back cover. The front cover magnetically clicks into place on the back cover when opened, which is very useful and does not create torsion on the hinge that previous covers have. Overall this is a perfect fit and worth the money.

The folio cover from apple is mostly what you expect, well made fits the product and works as designed. I bought this over all the other case options as I want to use this tablet in landscape view while holding it to play games. I previously purchased other cases on Amazon however none of them felt like they truly did the product or did not properly attach to the device or their cover would not fold nicely when holding the tablet. My largest gripe about the case is that the edges are rather sharp though I expect them to soften over time and that there is no edge protection to prevent damage if the iPad were to be dropped. For how I use this it was the best option but if you donโt intend I holding this while in landscape mode other options may be better.

I got this for my new iPad mini 6th gen. Love it. Tho if ur it went perfectly with my purple I pad, and still leaves room for my Apple Pencil on the side. I love how itโs velvety on the inside and itโs SO thin. I can barley tell itโs on which I love that itโs so thin and sleek. It just magnets to the back, but as long as your not throwing it around. You should be fine. Highly recommend

Its nice and it works well. But unlike the smart cover of previous generations, this has a very light overhang on the edges that makes it somewhat and sometimes uncomfortable. Even a little sharp.

Quality is definitely good, however I am unable to successfully use the stand function of the case without it falling on me the majority of the time. iPad Mini also feels like it could fit better with tighter design.
