This folio is definitely overpriced, however it is made from quality material, and stands up the 12.9 inch iPad Pro I have perfectly. It doesn’t protect any sides or corners, so that it is compatible with the Apple Pencil that connects magnetically to the side of the iPad. Although I understand the reasoning, I will be purchasing another case which will provide more protection for corners. Overall, not a terrible choice.

this is my 4th to 5th Apple (it has to be Apple) Smart folio so no disappointments here That said, the cover is just a protection from scratches and normal handling. It will not protect against dropping to the floor or similar tragedy and certainly not in the case of the iPad Pro 2018. The smart folio covers all but one side (the one the Apple pencil is magnetically attached to), the gray color is great and practical and the front lid wake up the iPad when open. Only complaint, the price: 100 bucks for this very minimalistal article is too much but what the heck, if past experience serves of any guide, this folio will last a long time and I am not expecting to to buy another iPad anytime soon, in fact I am not expecting to buy another iPad (I am perfectly happy with my new one)

I used this to have a little bit of protection for my screen while also maintaining the form factor of the iPad the real reason to buy this is for those looking to maintain those characteristics as well as for those looking to stay with the apple branding. If you’re more of a portable user of your iPad like every single day I would recommend something with a little more protection, but I always recommend apple care + in addition to every case because it will definitely save you in the times that a case like this or any other case won’t
