The Apple Pencil and Apple Pencil 2 have the same circumference size, so the Apple Pencil 2 fits perfectly. However, it’s shorter than the first generation Apple Pencil, so there’s some space at the bottom (or top) of the sleeve at all times. This shouldn’t be an issue because the sleeve is very sturdy and I have no fear that my pencil will be destroyed in any way. I got the midnight blue color and it is incredibly dark. The sleeve has felt on the inside so no chances of scratching the pencil. The sleeve is also leather, which is a nice touch. It is the same leather used on the Leather MagSafe Wallets and iPhone Cases used before they swapped over to the horrible Fiber, so it is a good quality sleeve.

I bought this to store my Apple Pencil when I did not need to use it and did not want to store it on top of my iPad. This case easily stores my Apple Pencil 1st gen and 2nd gen. Great value for my money.

This is a great product obviously because it’s from Apple. It fits the Pencil 2 as well as the original and has a very premium feel. I do have one gripe though. I collect Apple products and boxes and the box of the case was partially smashed in and bent. For most this won’t matter but it is a little annoying for such a premium box to be delivered in this condition.
