I’ve always thought of Apple-designed products as being a bit superior to third party products, especially when it comes to cases, but this “woven” case is absolute garbage. Two weeks in it was showing major wear and tear and scuffs on the four corners. A month in the “woven” material is peeling off the case and fading from green to white. Almost two months the case has been on the phone and the edges are falling apart. Don’t waste your money on this product — I can’t believe I spent this much money on a case this poorly designed and manufactured. Wish I could get my money refunded.

This case is terribly cheap. Like others, I have been a long term leather case user and as soon as I took this out of the box I could feel how cheap it was and it looked used and faded already. The "fine woven" back feels like they glued a denim patch to the back of a cardboard cutout. It looks and feels like it's going to fall apart very quickly. The sides feel like cheap vinyl flooring. Apple dropped the ball on this big time, all for the sake of "Mother Nature". There is no way these cheap cases are better for the environment than natural leather. Anyways, look elsewhere for a leather case replacement. I am going to try the Nomad leather case.

Ordered the Evergreen color, but it is definitely more black than green. I don’t see any hints of green in the color. Fits well and works with all of my MagSafe accessories which is a plus.

I ordered this case before all the stories about the FineWoven cases being horrible came out. I will say that my experience has been better than the worst ones I've seen and after a few weeks my case is holding up well, though it left a green stain on my MagSafe charger that I'm not thrilled about. It does feel very nice and while I would not call it especially durable, if you take care of it I think it could last. It's sort of antithetical to the concept of a case though and having to take such care with it doesn't make the $60 price feel very good. It is one of the few cases, at least right now, that has an action button cover and not an open spot.

I’ve had a leather case, silicon and others over the years. They all have the pros and cons, but this case doesn’t have the same feel as leather or silicon. Off the bat, I like the feel of it. Premium is a subjective term, what matters is how it holds up and will it protect my phone during an accidental drop. For now, I like the feel and look of it and hoping when it begins to Fade it has the character of leather and doesn’t look awful. Everyone just needs to relax.*updated review: it’s delaminating with only a months wear, do not buy this case, it’s absolutely awful.
