What you would expect from Apple
I got my iPhone 14 since it came out and I have been using this case since then. The case is light and it has the magsafe included in the case which is something I really like. The case makes my phone easy to hold and I have not had many issues with it. As you use your phone more and experience the occasional drops, the case does start to deteriorate slightly as my case has some indents and scratches but these come with every day use. It also protects the screen pretty well, but I have dropped my phone a couple of times with the case on which has lead to a little crack in my screen. Besides that, I do recommend this case to anyone looking for a case that is slim and light and has the magsafe capabilities. I do however recommend pairing this case with a screen protector if you do tend to drop your phone occasionally.

Great Case! Saved my Phone Many Times
I love the Color and I have ordered these cases a number of times. It has saved my phone from drops many times! One issue is after a while it begins to peel on the corner and then I know it’s time to replace…. But in fairness, it probably peels from damage from phone drops. Thst is why I have no problem buying again.

Slight difference from the 13Pro Max
This silicone is smoother than prior models. It actually makes it easier to put in your pocket now, but the trade-off is a little more slippery in the hand. I dropped my phone (1 week after receipt) and the screen protector cracked (screen survived :) The case I had on the phone was the same as this, except black, and it did get damaged from that drop (chipped the edge). The Elderberry is nice, but I keep thinking of Monty Python's Holy Grail, every time I think of Elderberries.

Good but not great.
What I liked: it’s low profile and doesn’t add a bunch of weight and bulk to my phone. Also, it’s super nonslip texture makes it really easy to hang onto and very unlikely to just slip out of your hand. What I didn’t like: the nonslip texture makes it somewhat difficult to slip in and out of your pocket. My phone got knocked off of a surface at work and fell roughly 4 feet to the floor. Because the case is so low profile it actually didn’t protect it well and my screen protector broke. Keep in mind I had the same screen protector on my last phone (with a different cheap gel case), it did get dropped a number of times (including on backpacking trips), and I owned the phone about 4 years. For what it is, I like it, but I went back to a cheap case after the broken screen protector.

Worst phone case I've ever owned - from day 1.
I've owned probably a dozen phone cases over the past 10 years, mostly for the iPhone -- this case is the worst that I've ever owned, despite being the most expensive and one of the only name-brand of the bunch. I've owned this case and phone (iPhone 14 promax) for 6-months and the case is in bad shape. The rubber coating is delaminating and the hard plastic underneath is cracked in a few places. However the below-average durability bothers me less than its intentional design, which I've hated from day one: Worst of all is the rubber coating. The whole surface of the case, except the ridge protecting the camera lenses, is coated in a very high-friction rubberized material. The concept of a high-friction surface makes some sense, but fails in practice. The result is that the phone is very difficult to take in and out of your pocket. Sitting down, without much leg room (like in the car), your phone will come out, or go into your pocket without some claustrophobic contortion. I'm not exaggerating, saying that I need to stick my entire hand in my pocket to use my skin as a barrier between the case and the fabric of my pocket in order to pull the phone out without bringing the pocket with it. The surface has so much friction that it actually pulls the case away from the phone while you're wrestling with it in your pocket -- on a number of occasions I've pulled my phone out (after a struggle) to see phone counting down to dial Emergency Services because the case pulled away from the corner of the phone and tickled the side buttons in the same way one might do in a panic, while being kidnapped. And now that I'm considering (for the first time) the similarities between removing the phone from my pocket, and escaping the restraints one might encounter in a kidnapping attempt -- maybe I should have let the phone call Emergency Services. The rubberized surface will not "break in" and become smoother as you use it. It will however attract the lint of 1000 belly buttons, only one of which is yours, and hoard that lint around the camera lenses, in the charging port and speakers. Eat a single potato chip and touch your phone, it will look at you work at Jiffy Lube, it's 4:30 on a Friday and you've been using your phone as a flashlight since Monday. I've become so enraged writing this review that I've just gotten up and thrown the case in the trash and can't muster the grace to describe the other things that I hate about it. All of these issues could have been solved if Apple had added some texture to the case in lieu of friction. They did not add texture, I can only imagine, because texture disrupts the smooth, elegant lines that Apple is known for. Instead, they made a case that looks good(?) but is as odds with the purpose of a phone case -- to protect the phone. Zooming out slightly, I am reminded of the biblical story, The Tower of Babel, as being the premier example of hubris; the design of this phone case, in the image of Steven Paul Jobs, serves as a perfect analogue to the Tower in that story. SPOILER ALERT!!! It doesn't end well for anybody!!

The Apple case is great, buying used “like new” was not
The Apple Silicon case is great. I like the one I have but it is starting to show somewhere after a year so I thought I would pick up a new one from Amazon. They offered a discount for one that said it was in “like” new condition. This would only be true if brand new silicone cases came with large chunks missing from the corners and the silicone peeling off the back. I sent it back and I will stick to New from now on.
