I’m in love with this case, the magnets are super strong and it charges with MagSafe no problem. After about 6 months of use the edges have started to fade but it doesn’t look ugly just yet, maybe choose a darker color as it wouldn’t show as much.

I was tired of silicone cases that felt good but stuck in my my pockets and pulled out the liner when I removed the case from my pants. A friend bought the midnight (black) version of this case and I liked it but wanted a very dark green. Of course they make one. I gritted my teeth and paid the $ 59. The case is great. The fit was absolutely perfect, it looks terrific and feels just grippy enough to give you confidence while holding. The screen protector and lens cover piece fit beautifully against the case edges and it slides in and out of my pockets nicely, but not so loose as to fall out. It's surprisingly thin as well. I grudgingly had to give it five stars (four for value though)....

I just received my iPhone 14 Pro leather case in the Midnight color. It’s a simple, neutral black. I’ve had my iPhone 13 Pro in a Midnight leather case for the past year, and it’s exactly the same color. (Although Apple has used the “Midnight” name for a dark blue color on some other products, this case is black. Not blue, not blue-black — it’s black.) My iPhone 13 Pro has survived a few drops in that case with no damage whatsoever — only minor scuffs to the case. The leather is smooth but not slippery, and it slides in and out of a pocket more easily than the Apple silicone case. I had a silicone case for my iPhone 11 Pro, and I’d easily recommend the silicone case if you want your phone to keep a grip on the inside of your pocket. Both the silicone case and the leather case feel a little extra-smooth when new, but, in both cases, the surface sort of relaxes as you use it over time. The silicone becomes much more grippy, and the leather acquires a more natural feel. The iPhone 14 Pro has slightly different dimensions than the iPhone 13 Pro, so the case dimensions are slightly different to perfectly fit the new phone. From using the nearly-identical 13 Pro case for a year, I can tell you that: (1) the case is reasonably easy to get on and off the phone, but it stays on solidly, (2) the front edge of the case sticks out above the screen just enough to keep the glass from touching any flat surface you might rest it on, and it has never gotten in my way, (3) the raised lip around the camera module in the back might look huge, but it is really just tall enough to protect the huge camera lenses and has also never interfered with my use of the phone, and (4) the buttons press crisply and are even easier to feel with your fingers than the buttons on the bare phone. As you’d expect from Apple, the case is as tightly precision-engineered as the phone itself. My uploaded photo shows a brand-new 14 Pro Midnight case next to my one-year-old 13 Pro Midnight case. It is an unadjusted color photo, taken with the 13 Pro in good light on a black desk. Again, these cases are just plain black.

Case itself is durable, easy to hold and definitely adds some protection for the glass front and back. The only thing I wish is that Amazon give some recognition to military veterans who have sacrificed in many ways to serve our nation. Either with a special discount on purchases or something special for Prime, that would have matched the military discount that Apple offers on retail store or online sales.
