I see now on further inspection that the description does in fact say it’s sold separately. So yes, it’s my own fault. But just a word to the wise, this $35 purchase is not a $29 airtag plus a $6 loop of leather with a metal ring. It’s just the keyring. That’s right, the little leather pouch cost more than the state of the art technology it’s made to hold. This is the most Apple thing ever.

Product seems fine but the pictures are deceitful. This DOES NOT come with the airtag as shown. Ridiculous price for a tiny piece of leather and a key ring.

So far I have tried a couple different AirTag keychains and this one is by far the nicest made and the most secure feeling. Of course for $35 which is more than the little air tag it better be the best and nicest! I do find it funny the reviews complaining about it not including the AirTag...I don't think that is a good reason to give it a poor review...if you own a single Apple product, you know this is how they roll like it or not. I am sure as these things are out more, there will be a ton of third party that will be nice but for right now this is the one to get. I took a star off because I don't like the price....

The device works fine, and this seems sturdy enough... but how does this accessory to attach an Airtag to your keys, cost more than the Airtag itself? What? Yes, this is JUST the leather strap, is does NOT come with the Airtag. It is just silly expensive.

When you want to secure your keys, the key fob accessory is a requirement for the AirTag unlike other competitors that may have a corner hole drilled in it already, so here we are, yes doubling the cost of the AirTag but doing so in great style and execution. I had no problems with the key ring-- it's well made-- possibly a bit thinner than expected-- the most unique part of it is the flat very shiny metal ring included. The AirTag actually slides in from the top of the unit and closes with a snap, it doesn't just push in from the front or back as you may assume from the appearance of the key ring itself. No concerns, would buy again, fully approved. //
