Description

Apera Instruments AI1104 16oz. pH Calibration Buffer Solution Kit (pH 4.00, 7.00 & 10.01), plus 3M KCL Soaking Storage Solution and CalPod Solution Holder. Apera pH calibration buffers are produced in an ISO 9001:2015 facility with ISO 17025:2017 accreditation using high-purity reagents, deionized water and certified analytical balances in a temperature controlled environment. Reported values are accurate to +/- 0.01 pH at 25°C and are traceable to NIST Standard Reference Materials (SRMs). MSDS documents are downloadable. Certificate of analysis can be achieved by request. All pH buffers have a 2-year expiration from manufacture for an unopened bottle.

    • Finally got a good unit capable of three point calibration
I finally got tired of messing with cheap pH pens, and got a good unit capable of three point calibration. I still had some 4.01 and 7.0 reference solutions, but needed some 10.0 to get the third point. This kit contained the 10.0 that I needed, as well as storage solution, and was priced right compared to other brands. The kit arrived in good shape, with each bottle sealed in it's own plastic bag. I used the solutions to condition the probe per mfg's instructions, and went through the calibration routine. After cal, I checked the readings with the solution I had on hand, and it was spot on, so I'm satisfied that the solution's are accurate. ... show more

This is a great set for calibrating your PH meters. It came with 3 buffers, storage solution and a solution storage case (CalBox). I really like the CalBox. It makes it so much easier to calibrate my PH meter. Juggling small bottles is no fun. I also used one of the complements for distilled water. The only complaint I have is the CalBox lids aren’t water tight. If you do happen to turn it over, some will leak out. Its not a fatal flaw, just annoying. I was hoping to be able to drain one of the compartments as needed but its pretty much all or none. Otherwise I am very happy with the set! ... show more

Product arrived quickly and is as advertised. I immediately used it to calibrate a Thermoworks pH meter and the solutions were right on target. Temperature conversion scales on the bottle labels are an additional useful feature. Sturdy bottles, sturdy packaging. I’ve been using this fir a while now. It keeps calibration very well if you use it correctly and maintain it. Keep your probe clean and calibrate. Make sure to use your KCI solution if you’re going to store for long periods of times. I need to maintain optimal levels in my water due to the nature of my job and I trust this meter. ... show more

I am unhappy with the product. I have previously bought these pH buffers from this brand and have not had any problems. However, this time the product has disappointed me. Before they came well packaged, well protected, in a white box and it seemed like a well prepared product. The one I received recently is the complete opposite. It seems that they sold me products previously returned for having serious defects, with loss of solution and with crystallization of the same, very unfortunate. It also presents differences in the volume of solutions. I will think again to buy them. ... show more
