This dress was perfect for the ball I attended. The color is stunning. Needed no ironing. The fit was good, I actually got an XL as Amazon recommended & it worked for me. I had ordered xxl in two colors & returned them. The zipper needed some work, it wanted to stick at a certain point but I used a stick of lotion up & down the zipper & that made it work better. I got so many compliments on this dress. Length was perfect for me, I did wear average sized heels. I’m 5’4 & 180’sh lbs. The amazing peacock earrings & my husbands bow tie was also from Amazon. This dress is amazing! I went up one size because I have a wide bust but other than that it fit perfect. I'm a shorty about 5'3 and it didn't drag on the ground. I wore it for a cruise and got so many compliments, I felt beautiful in it! It was packed in a suitcase and didn't wrinkle. I would buy again. I read other reviews about this dress before purchasing so I knew about the zipper issue. I am a seamstress so this is an easy fix anyone can do: just add a hook and eye at the top of the zipper. If you can use a needle and thread it would be worth it because it will free up your hands to support zipping it up easier. But still it's an invisible zipper on a thick seam so it's common. It is still 100% worth it. This dress would flatter many body types. I read some reviews to size up but had to return it twice to get the correct size which was medium. I'm 5'6", a 36DD, 140ish pounds and a size medium in tops, large on the bottom. The other thing that I find annoying is the half slip, but at this price point and for what you're getting, I just put on a long slip and problem solved. But you could totally go without one and be fine. I just didn't like the feel of the edge of the liner where it hit on the legs. The dress is heavy and absolutely stunning. You will look great and get a ton of compliments. It is amazingly comfortable and I wear mine around the house even, 'cause why not! Wear the dress I say. I want one in more colors. Buy it! Perfect dress for my gala. Fit me like a glove. I am 5’7” and 200lbs and XL was great. A touch big at top but didn't need seamstress. Fabric was light ans looked beautiful. So many complements.
