I was initially doubtful about the LED devices and what all the hype was surrounding them. However, I decided to give it a shot to determine its actual effectiveness. Words can't express how much I adore this device now!! Over the past few weeks, I've been consistently using the device three times a week, and the changes have been remarkable. Notably, I've observed a reduction in acne and a gradual lightening of my acne scars. While I believe it will take a few more weeks of use to witness truly dramatic results, I'm genuinely delighted with my purchase up to this point. You have to touch your skin to activate the light but if you have moisturizer or serum on it kind of sticks to the skin and doesn't slide across it easily so it kind of tugs at it. I do notice using it regularly keeps my pores tighter and my skin more vibrant.

I have used other light therapy devices for my skin before, so this wasn't totally new to me. This device was easier and more enjoyable to use then many of the others I've tried in the past, though. And it should be, 'cause let's just get this out of the way now: this thing is expensive! Nearly two hundred bucks is a lot of money, so I'm expecting a lot of results from it. Of course, it's too early to know yet how well it's working, so I have to evaluate it on other factors. It's very easy to use. One-button operation means it isn't confusing or intimidating like so many facial devices can be. There are only two settings--red and infrared light, which can stimulate collagen production and is good for anti-aging benefits, or red and blue light, which helps calm inflammation and can help clear breakouts and congestion. I use them both, alternating each session. There's no pain or discomfort, only the slightest bit of warmth as the lens heats up. The light goes out the second it loses contact with your skin, which is a cool feature, and it turns off completely after five minutes. I love how simply designed this device is. It is comfortable and lightweight to hold, making it very convenient to use while watching TV in the evenings. It's also rechargeable and cordless, so it can be used virtually anywhere, making it perfect for use at home or while traveling. Unfortunately, I do think this device is overpriced and overpackaged. It comes in an unnecessarily thick molded plastic box, giving it a luxe look, perhaps to match the luxe price. It might be worth its current price, but that will be prohibitive for many people. On the other hand, the price point is in line with or only slightly higher than similar light therapy masks and other devices, so perhaps that's fair enough. Either way, the device itself is really cool and easy to use. I hope I will see results soon, and I will try to remember to update this review in a few weeks to let y'all know whether or not it's worth the splurge. It's my first time using such beauty beam. I would say, it's kind of special experience. Basically it's kind of like a 'torch', where you light your face for ~15min by constantly moving. Meanwhile you can't really do anything except watching TV. The cordless feature does make it easier to go around, but still it occupies a hand. Also the light is a little bit strong and need to avoid eye area, but that's where I want to improve my skin the most. Also it recommends the use together with some tea tree serum, but that's not included. To summarize, it's good to try, but I don't observe too obvious effects (maybe my skin is not bad by nature at all). ... show more

I gave this Anti-Breakout Blue Beauty Beam by CELLECT 3 stars because it did not work out for me for some reasons. It does not mean it is not good, maybe it is just not suitable for my skin type. For the first couple times of use, I did not see anything happened on my acnes or blemish. Until I try to use some retinol on those skin areas, it gave me a really bad reaction, so I think the machine in fact works too well. Especially the infrared blue light effect on the skin. So be caution and give them time in order to see a result. This Beauty Beam is easy to use, and the ergonomic design ensures a comfortable grip during treatments. It also comes with clear instructions for hassle-free operation. This device provides spa-level skincare therapy in the comfort of my home. It's a cost-effective way to enjoy professional skincare treatments without the need for frequent spa visits. If you are consistent to use this machine every day, 10 minutes a day on those acnes or blemish, eventually it will show the results. I have used light therapy for about a year. I was interested in trying this item and when rereading the accompanying manual, I realized I have been using it incorrectly, however, I do believe I have been benefiting from the treatment. I have an area on my upper cheek where I have a mild constant Rosecea break out. I believe it is caused from a CPAP mask. I made the commitment to use this anti-break out wand along with tea tree oil every day for a week to see if it made any difference in this particular area. I made the mistake of leaving the anti-blemish wand in the same area without moving. The good new is, I didn't do any damage to my skin. I found that the Rosecea spots diminished with treatment. I am very impressed that this wand helped me make headway in diminishing the tiny red spots in this area. I will continue using the wand while while moving it around the skin in this area. This anti-blemish wand came packaged in a very nice clear hard plastic case that stores the wand, goggles, charging cord, manual and travel storage bag. It also comes with a nice plastic cover for the light head of the wand. I am very pleased with the results, but I do find the wand to be very pricy. ... show more
