I was a bit hesitant about purchasing this dress online, especially when it comes to sizing. I’m 5 feet tall, 160 pounds with a bit of a gut, and I really didn’t want to end up looking like a round blob or have my boobs spilling out. I also wanted to find something that would cover my arms and stomach because I’m not a fan of showing those areas. This dress turned out to be exactly what I was hoping for! It fit perfectly and had the flowy sleeves I was looking for, offering great coverage without feeling bulky. The length was perfect for my height—just grazing the top of my feet when I wore wedges. If it’s a little long for you with wedges, the waist is constructed in a way that you can pull it up slightly to shorten the dress a tad more. The dress is a beautiful pink color, and I received lots of compliments throughout the day, which made me feel so pretty. One thing I wasn’t thrilled about was that the bottom was a bit sheer, with a slit that exposed more than I was comfortable with, especially since I have spider veins and prefer to keep my legs covered. I had no trouble taking it to my local seamstress, and for just $7, she sealed up the slit for me, which was an easy fix. The dress does come with a built-in slip, but I added a shorter slip underneath to avoid a "Princess Di" moment—especially since it was an outdoor wedding...just in case. Very happy with this dress! It’s a versatile dress to wear to a semi-formal wedding or dance. I feel like this could also be dressed down for more casual occasions too. I wear a US size 8/10 and the Amazon size recommendation was a Medium. I ended up ordering a Large for a more flowy and looser look, similar to the listing pics. As a member of the IBTC, I was a little worried that a Large would be too big up top, but it actually fits quite nicely lol (I’m 34B/36A). It’s nice and flowy. The side slit goes up a little higher than my knee, which is a nice height imo. I don’t necessarily like when there is a super high slit that goes all the way up my thigh, especially as I get older lol. The dress is a nice length on me as well, it’s plenty long even at my height. I’m 5’9” and it hits right at my ankles. If you’re a shorter girlie, you may need to wear heels with this or have it altered. The material is sheer but it still has some nice coverage. The inner skirt liner covers nicely, and is mid thigh length on me. The material isn’t stretchy but the waist has some elasticity to it. The sash that comes with it is nice and allows for more waist definition. There is a little snap on the chest area that can allow for more modest chest coverage, but I am keeping it open.     • Spectacular cut, ultra flattering...yellow floral is not yellow

I really, really love the cut of this dress. I like the v-neck, I like the flowy arms, I like the length and the slit in front. I like the flowy fabric and the liner. I like the print. I like that I felt beautiful in this dress for all of the aforementioned reasons, because it's not often that I feel beautiful with this stupid menobelly and breasts that don't match the added weight. This dress did that for me. My only problem, and it's kind of a big deal because it's literally a part of the description...this is the "Yellow Floral" . It's not yellow at all...its kind of a peachy-nude. Big not yellow. I'm going to wait for a second opinion on this dress, but I think I'll need to return it for a different color. ... show more

    • Bigger Chests Beware!

The yellow dress itself is very pretty. Up close, the flowers are a bit “blurred,” but all of the colors are so nice! I am bummed about the top—it’s a hard fit for bigger chests. If the snap is undone, then the top is a very low V. When the top is snapped together, it’s done at such a weird spot (another review said it looks like a bathrobe—YES), but the bottom layer of the “wrap” isn’t long or loose enough to be pulled over to connect, so then I was left with a big gap. Then, with my bigger chest, the waist band is higher, right under my chest (rather than lower, like on the model pictured). I’m bummed because I wanted to wear this to a wedding, but it’s either flash everyone or look like I’ve barely tucked myself into a bathrobe. If you have a smaller chest, try it! ... show more

Love this dress! Bought for a summer wedding! Great fit. I could have eaten a whole buffet and still would be comfortable with the elastic waist!! The dress material is soft and flowy. I chose the green! Lots of compliments! The dress was so good I bought another in navy just incase.

    • It's a beautiful dress with built in slip
Size: XX-Large Color: Floral Green
I love the way this dress flows, and is made well. VERY pretty, flattering dress. My only complaint is that the build in slip is very tight and seems to be made for someone a size or two smaller than the rest of the dress is fit for. I can fit it on, but the slip would defeintly have torn or rolled up if I were to have sat down in it. Everything else about the dress fits according to size perfectly. I altered my slip to fit by seam splitting it all the way up both sides then sewing the edges to keep them from fraying. It only took about 20 min to alter even with hand stitching so it wasn't a big deal for me. I may add in extra material to close the sides later if I can find a good material match and have some extra time but I don't really think it will be necessary. Even with the split sides in the slip part, it falls nicely and covers just fine. The dress is a beaituful print, and is really well made other than the slip needing altered to fit right. The rest of the dress fits perfectly and hangs just right so I only took off one star. ... show more

This is a very pretty dress, but the fitting is too large. I am 5‘2“, 130 pounds, 30” waist, 39” bust, 38” hips, ordered the medium, and it was a large fit. It was refunded without any problems.
