I bought this dress on sale in the wine color and it's so thick and well-made. It's a great dress for colder months with longer boots or tights and flats. The neckline is high so it's modest enough for work wear. The style is fit and flare, just like the pictures so there's a flattering silhouette and the added belt helps to create a waist. Love this! Considering buying in other colors! Note: the color I have is not see through in the slightest I can't imagine lighter colors are either given how thick the knit is. This dress does not have pockets, sadly!

This is a perfect winter season dress. As noted in other reviews, it is a bit heavy, but very soft and comfortable to wear. I did not want to wear anything else after I put it on. It pairs with about any coat or jacket. I bought the pale grey in order to have a subtle backdrop for my jewelry and other accessories. It goes great with most any jewelry, shoes, boots, scarves, mostly all accessories. The dress fits to size, good quality. I want to buy in another color. Many good colors to choose from. You will not be disappointed.

The dress is very nice, well made, with an excellent weight to it. This is a great winter dress. I took off a star for the belt. It seems the belt was probably made the same size, regardless of the dress size. I ordered a large dress, and the belt ties into a short stubby bow, not the big bow that drapes nicely in the photos. I will buy a different belt to wear with it.

I bought this dress for a winter baby bump photo, the dress is very cute and the fabric is nice and thick so it is warm like a sweater. the only thing that is a little odd is I sized up but all that achieved was the top looking a little weird on me. It is big in the armpits. I suppose I could have just bought my normal size and would have been fine. I did pay for two of these dresses though as I ordered one originally but it was undelivered and I never received a refund.

The weight of the knit fabric is quite nice, and I love the color too. The top is slim-fitted, flattering and comfortable, and the flared short skirt is cute. Where this dress goes wrong is that the arm-hole cutouts are odd...extremely curved. This makes a weird shape on the shoulders. Also, the bottom hemline is uneven. I still wear it and love how I feel in it but I also have to pretend that these odd pattern lines don't exist as I know that these issues are because of bad pattern-making.

if you’re looking for a modest dress with thick fabric for the winter, this is it! It’s a great price for the quality and it is an overall comvoftable dress however it is very heavy material wise and was long on me as i’m 5’2”. it’s not transparent at all though so i’d say it’s worth it!
