This dress is wow. I am a tall person, I am 5'11 so I have always struggled finding long dresses that don't stop at my ankles. When I learned about Skims I was so eager to purchase a dress since I've heard it's the perfect length for tall people and that's exactly what I strive to look for when purchasing dresses. Now looking at the price, as many people, I turned away rather quickly since I was not ready spending that much in a single item of clothing. I bought this dress thinking it'll just be a dupe and it'll be somewhat similar not expecting a whole lot. Wow was I wrong. This dress is beautiful. It truly does hug every single part of your body and in such a beautiful way too. It's just one of those staple dresses that can be dressed up or down which is what I love about it, I can wear it all the time and not just when I go out on dates or somewhere fancy. The fabric is so incredibly soft, I could not stop touching it because of how soft it was. It is also fairly stretchy which I love and I think that's why it's able to hug all of the right places correctly. But it's not stretchy to the point it hangs loose, no, it snaps back right where it's supposed too. Again I'm 5'11 and it fit me perfectly, almost touching the floor which is exactly what I was looking for. For once I needed to wear heels with a dress. It truly made me feel so beautiful and for the price, it is 100% worth every penny.

It’s cute and comfy! The material is stretchy and not sheer at all. It’s not really the “snatch effect” you may be looking for. It does look a little cheap with the material since the bottom is a noticeable hem. May not look that way in black. But for the price, definitely worth it. Almost thought about ordering a size smaller just to get a little bit more emphasis on curves.

Although because it is a thin fabric, I wear a bra just in case. What I did like about this brand is that they had a petite option that others didn't. I am 5'2 and 110 lbs, and the XX-small-petite hugged me perfectly and sat right below my ankles! No dragging! A classic basic dress for any occasion.
