But for a long evening that included dancing, they wouldn't be comfortable enough for me. The ankle strap came up a bit too high and started rubbing on my ankle. I ordered these in my usual size 6. I am a senior and have not worn heels for years. I liked the fact that they had a non skid sole, which would make them less dangerous for me to walk in. When they arrived, I tried them on (went great with my dark silver dress), but they were very tight and rubbed on the back of my feet. I exchanged them for a 6 1/2 which were much better. I wish they came in a wide, because the toe area is very tight. Hoping I can wear them for at least part of the wedding, but just in case they really hurt, I bought silver sequin ballet shoes that match my dress perfectly. ... show more
