Several years ago, I/Santa got an amazing deal on a gigantic stuffed puppy and gave it to my son. The puppy was given the very original name of Big Puppy and is still one of my son's favorite things ever. Last year, when my son mentioned, kind of as a fantasy thing, that he'd love to have another big plushie, I decided to hunt for one. Unfortunately, other than teddy bears and oddly, giraffes, (neither of which he's really into), I could never find anything decent for close to what I could afford, having been spoiled by that original deal, it seems. Finally, as this Christmas was closing in alarmingly fast, I found this puppy, which was just within what I'd decided I'd be willing to pay. It is not as large as Big Puppy, but is still fairly large by stuffed animal standards, and, most importantly, my son loves him. This pup has been named "Big Fluffy." Big Fluffy is a bit firm, but is gradually getting more squashy. It's very, very silky soft. We're not exactly sure how or when it happened, but one night not long after we'd gotten it, we did notice a small tear along the back seam, but it was easily sewn. So far, there have been no other issues, and after nearly 2 months of being hugged, fully laid on, used as a pillow, and tossed about, that's not bad.
