These pods are heavy and very well constructed! I’ve owned many light pods in the past years but these are so far the best! Their spot beam is crazy bright and wider than the average spot light at distance. The DRL halos are beautiful, so far i decided to keep them on the blue color. I decided to wire the halos separately from the main lights and used a heavy duty 300W wiring harness just for the main lights. The halos are wired to my parking lights and come on with them. I haven’t been offroad to see how the lights light up the road on a fully dark road but on the back streets i’ve taken to work at 5am without traffic, they light up the whole road in front me for at least a block. So far they’ve made it thru more than 6 days of rain without a single drop of moisture. Im very happy with these lights, i do hope they continue being this good! I recommend them. ... show more

I used these for rear lights on my SUV. Installation was super easy and all the necessary hardware was included. The lights are super bright. I have used them a handful of times and I have been happy with the amount of throw provided. I needed some extra lighting for my Jeep JKU when backing up. I did not want to buy some larger LED lights which would be awkward and look weird bolted on to the back of my Jeep. I mounted these just below the bumper and they work great. They are small, built well, and put out a lot of light.

    • Good/Solid light...but....

So the lights are bright and seem well made. But i am taking a star off (could argue for two off) due to: 1. The light is very yellow, not amber. 2. Zero instructions or detail sheet with it. I wanted to wire the correct fuse etc, but didn't have the details. I pulled the info from the product details online and then did some math and figured the amps. A sheet/info would have helped. 3. The coating that is on the housing seems durable, but it was also sprayed on the threads where the bolts screw in, so they did not fit easily or well. I was worried about cross threading due to the fit and the force i had to use. As i said tho, they are bright and otherwise seem to work well. I tried to set myself up for success by using clear silicone adhesive to seal up every seem on the unit, around the lens, and around the port where the wiring comes out. I've had good success by doing that with other vehicle LED lights, so hopefully the same will work here. I used a Nilight wiring harness and Nilight hood mounts to complete the install. ... show more

Been running for a few days in fall weather, the overall housing doesnt get too hot so if you intend to run them in fog/snow/rain it will be no issue. The lights come with 2 M8 bolts so plan your mounting bracket accordingly, the kit dont have a flat washer but only 2 spring lock washers, 5/16 will work. I have mine running parallel forward as fog lights, the brightness are good for the size and power, enough to see at night with only the pods, have yet to test them in real fog, but given the spread i dont doubt the performance ... show more

I had Baja Designs S2s on the back of my UTV and kept getting complaints that they were too bright by people following . So I replaced them with these. These appear to be every bit as bright as the Baja Designs lights at a fraction of the price.
