This little scarf looks amazing in person. It's a fantastic buy. Soft and silky, the fabric and pattern looks amazing. I've washed it and no bleeding. I normally tie is like it's a tie (it's relatively narrow, so this works) and it looks great with every work outfit, and doubles as a little extra insulation against the office AC. It is not a winter scarf - so don't think it will work when it's -10 out, but for work and fashion it's perfect. I intend to get other patterns based off my experience with this one. I'm wearing it literally every single day because I like it so much.

The scarf is lovely, but the beautiful packaging in a nice black envelope was not. I wanted to gift this item but the envelope was folded over rendering it unusable as a gift which was my intention. Since the scarf itself is so nice and I do believe is genuine silk, I will keep it for myself and not return it. I hesitate to buy another when I’m not sure how Amazon will package a fairly small, flat envelope. I don’t get it.

The silk is not too sheer, it is, and also looks, very good quality. It is also very pretty, it got lots of compliments. This scarf is primarily to be used as accessory, not for warmth (it is not very wide).
