Can't compare sizes without a reference to go by, right?! So... Size Reference: I wear a 14 or small cut 16 pants or XL - top half usually 2XL or a loose cut XL, my bra size is 38/40 H to J cup depending on the style/cut/brand. Buying tops and bras online is VERY difficult with my out of proportion top half, so I usually err on the larger size, and I bought these tanks in a 2XL and used/washed/dried several times - then I went back to get more in just an XL.. And yes, they wash and dry very nicely. The 2XL was comfy, and was pleasantly surprised by the roominess of the shelf bra, but over all after it stretched a bit, it actually felt too loose. The shoulder strap is wide and long , and not adjustable, which I actually like best because I hate having to straighten and readjust the adjustable sort, of thin straps, but on the 2XL, for me, that translated to less support for the Big Girls. If you are short in stature, or smaller bra cup size, consider this with sizing. In general, for this brand/style - if you are like me, and generally fit between two sizes, go with the smaller option. Still using the 2XL since I have them, but the XL is more perfect. I hate strapping on a bra at home or for sleeping, but my girls have some size, and at my 57yrs not as perky, so it actually gets uncomfortable to wear nothing. Wearing a shelf bra type tank is my go-to for home comfort. Honestly, in winter, I also use these or something similar under a sweatshirt instead of a regular torture device bra. Fabric is soft, has the right amount of stretch and is a nice thickness, seams were straight and it washes well. I'm happy with these! ... show more

So soft and comfortable! These fit well, and the fabric is really nice. I would say they run a tiny bit small, so maybe order a size up from your usual. I was a little surprised they don't really have cups for the "bra" part. It's more just an extra layer of fabric with some elastic under the part that covers your breast on the inside, so a perfectly fine bra for those of us on the smaller side, probably not enough support for anyone larger. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: It's 5 Stars but only because of tiny differences from a favorite I've tried to replace for years. One difference is that facing isn't sewn right sides together then turned inside out for an expensive looking edge. Instead it's sewn wrong sides together and edges bound and top stitched. It's wonderful thick cotton fabric! I'm so impressed with it since sellers lie about fabric being cotton on 90% of the products. We're not stupid! Cotton grows on a bush. It's not a recycled plastic bottle, I also love that the elastic is not tight and it is covered by the fabric. That is awesome and feels great. It's a little long but it feels nice and trimming so I can get used to it. Overall I'm so happy to find these! 190lbs 5'6" size XXL. I could wear a XL but I like the roominess. It looks great. I like these tank tops. They feel very soft and stretchy. It’s hard to believe they are 95% cotton. They don’t feel like cotton. They don’t feel like they would be breathable, but they are. They are very comfortable. The sizing of this type of product usually run small. These run true to size. I bought the large (12-14) and they fit nicely. For medical reasons, I require support at all times. These fit this need perfectly. I use them as underwear, but they look nice enough to use as outerwear if you don’t have a tummy roll. As for care: I machine wash in cold water, (I have no choice) in a lingerie bag. Then I line dry. I can’t tell you how they do in the dryer. I can tell you that grease spots don’t come out even with Oxi clean and dish soap. I do like them. I bought the Navy/Red/Black (the red had the olive oil stain) and plan to buy some more of different colors. The only thing I don’t like is that they just say imported, they should say China ... show more

Good quality but run small. I am 158 lbs and bra size is A. I usually wear a medium or large. I bought large and these are tight. I can wear them but I ordered a large because I wanted them to be kinda loose. So, good quality. You may need to size up.

They are very soft, very long. I need the wider straps so I like those. The neckline is good also. However, I thought when I got them they had built in bras with padding. They do not. Elastic shelf bra, they are comfortable.

Best tanktop I've worn since K-Mart and their Basic brand went out of business. I thought I'd never find a cotton/spandex tank with the correct "squeeze" again! Anvelop is thick enough for discreet coverage. Well made. It has the perfect amount of compression. Don't buy a size bigger unless you're looking for very little support. Cotton is silky smooth to the skin. They wash well. Long enough to go under slacks and stay put. Straps will cover a bra, but the shelf bra is very supportive. I'm a C cup and 5'8", so I think someone petite might find the straps would need to be shortened and that might bring the scoop neck up too high. ... show more

The design is strange... it weirdly sticks out by the armpits, it's very wide in the stomach area and super tight in the bottom. I'm 5'5 and 110lb, I'm skinny, but this top makes it look like i have a gut. The fabric itself is not soft, nor is it pleasant to the touch. It's very thick and rough. Reminds me of those bandage dresses or slimming underwear. I can't even imagine wearing it in the summer, I'd be suffocating. ... show more
