I ordered this for my daughter who is 9 months and it was very long for her! She is in 90th % for height and 75th % for weight so I’d say it runs large moreso than she is just small because it’s the length that was off not the overall fit of the costume. Fits pretty well the head is a little big actually really big fits my head😂 it kept falling down but it stayed up for the most part. My baby was 6 months old for the costume party it was a little big but not huge so if you’re baby is in the bigger side or you’re ordering for a 12 month old unless your baby is smaller than an average 1 year old j would say this might be a little too small and uncomfortable. I feel like it would fit your average 9 month old perfect. Fabric was really soft ont he outside inside wasn’t as soft but obviously you’re not going to put it in a naked baby. So if you put clothes underneath there’s no irritation.

Little Stinker!

This was so cute for a costume party we attended! We got a lot of compliments. The size 6-12 months was a little big on our petite 9-month old but it worked. I washed the costume before use and the black ran a bit into the white parts. This wasn't so noticeable once she was wearing it. Also, the tail was pretty heavy for the costume and didn't stay on so well. Looked really cute in pictures.
