Adorable dress! I got so many compliments! Ordered black & white polka dots, size M. I am 5' tall, Size 6 to 8, 36C. The hem just covered my knees, so a perfect view of my legs below the knee. It was slightly loose in the chest, but looked very pretty. The waistline was just above my waist, to give a pretty fit & flair look. The fabric in this color is super nice, felt good on my skin, and flowed nicely. It arrived on afternoon, and I hung it up and knew I would wear it without even trying it on; I wore it to an event the next evening. The sleeves are a very pretty shape, fit & flair sleeves!

Perfect for a Graduation ceremony

I had another dress planned for my nephew’s graduation and when I went to put it on, it was too tight and so I went into my closet looking for something red so I wouldn’t have to change my accessories or makeup. I found this (Red) dress in closet still with the tags on (purchased September 2022) and decided to try it on. It was perfect! Color - The dress is true red. Fit - the fit was loose but cute. I felt comfortable in it the entire day. I wasn’t hot, nor was I cold. I could sit down and get up easily from chairs without having to pull the dress down or worry about exposing myself (I’m 6’1”). The dress is extremely flattering and it hides the excess side/stomach weight. I also own this is purple and will probably purchase on more. I wore it with a light jean jacket which I took off and a silk scarf around my neck.

Lot's of compliments but a tad tight

This is a great little dress for a casual day. I planned on wearing it as part of an elf costume for Ren Fen and was going to use a PU leather corset, elf ears and tall boots to complete the look. The price is great, had tons of good reviews so I ordered it. I mean, it's a super cute dress on it's own and I would totally wear this to go out for lunch with friends or to any casual event, not just Ren Fen. Based on the Amazon suggested size for me I ordered a large (I'm in between a C cup and a D cup in bra size). It arrived quickly (my PU leather corset did not, sadly) and looked perfect. Well made, tight seems, great length. I ended up wearing it without my corset but the only thing that I had an issue with was the chest size. It was, still is a bit tight the chest. Tight enough that it's obvious that it does not fit and so for that reason it's been put in the costume bin and not a dress I would wear throughout the year. The arms fit great, the length was perfect - just above the knee - not too short, not too long. I still like the dress and end up wearing it with a super tight sports bra and an infinity scarf to hide the tight chest. I suggest ordering a size up if you have above average size breasts (I'm in between a C and D cup bra size).

Lots of hits, and a few misses... READ ME BEFORE YOU BUY.

So, I love this dress. I FIRST ordered the long-sleeve black polka dot dress in a size large. After reading the reviews, I knew even though my ideal sizing could be either a medium or a large, it would be right to pick the large. I ordered it, shipping was quicker than expected. I tried it on... and IMMEDIATELY fell in love. I chose "fit as expected" for this review, only because I was smart enough to read the reviews beforehand. Or else, I would have chosen the the one between "too small" and "fit as expected" if I didn't know to choose the bigger size. This dress is super beautiful on. It is just fitted enough around the chest region so it doesn't look like a sack the rest of the way down, but enough room to breath and not show the oh-so not-awesome line from my bra in the back region. (Ladies, you know what I am talking about.) The sleeves are not constricting or too tight. I carry a little bit more weight in my arms than I would like to at the moment. So, feeling like I wasn't going to rip the sleeves off like the Hulk when I reached for something was awesome. The sleeves also hit me right where they were supposed to at the wrist. Which, is a miracle in itself given I have longer arms. The length off the dress is awesome. Hits me a little bit above the knee, which is what I hoped for because I wanted it to be appropriate for work, too. The dress is a thinner material, which is nice for Spring and Summer. I have a biker short shapewear bodysuit that will be perfect underneath to avoid any see-through ness that comes with ordering a dress in this type of material. More than anything, it's comfortable. Now your probably wondering, "Sophie, why are you only giving it three stars if you LOVE it so much." Well, I loved it so much I ordered more... 6 more to be precise. I ordered the green long-sleeved polka dot, and it was just as beautiful as the first one. The third and fourth ones I ordered was the short-sleeved and long-sleeved plain black dresses. They were also just as great at first one. (However, I noticed the material in these two was a little more see-through in the light. However, with some shape wear underneath it wasn't terrible at all, and I didn't feel like it was worth sending back just for that because they were both still beautiful on.) Then we finally get to why this review has three stars... The last three were the plain green long-sleeved dressed, the plain burgundy long-sleeved dress, and the buffalo plaid pattern long-sleeved dress. I opened the green one... immediately noticed it had a hole in the region that lies on the back of the neck. SAD. Opened the burgundy one... had two stains on the upper left sleeve. These weren't the kind of stains I felt like I could get out, either. They seemed hard, as if it was dried superglue. SAD. Then the buffalo plaid dress... The seam that lies under the chest region was not straight... it was SO crooked. I though it would be forgiven after I put it on, given the dress style... and it just looked WORSE. The seam dropped two and a half inches from the left to the right side. All three I just dropped off at UPS to return... And yes, I just got on and ordered four more, only one that is the same as one I returned. I want to give Amoretu a chance to redeem themselves. I love the four I got to keep. But having to return 3 of 7 is just so disappointing. If the next four come in and are just as beautiful, I will definitely be changing my rating.

I’m 5.2 150lbs Medium fits right. I carry all weight in the tummy unfortunately. I went on a shopping therapy spree and bought a bunch of different dresses in hopes that one would bring me joy. This was the winner! I guess I was in a blue state of mind because I got blue in both a solid and polka dot with long sleeves. (Long winded but perhaps helpful?) Upon receipt of my many dresses trying them on at night with bad lighting I was pretty sure these were going to be sent back. After a good nights sleep I tried everything on once more in the light of day. What I thought looked good last night looked awful! Lighting matters a lot. I was looking for something to wear Spring through Summer. The fabric is not very breathable. Good thing there’s a vent at the bottom LOL. Seriously tho, I imagine seeking shade and wearing in less than 90 degree weather to really be comfortable in it. The solid color dress looks fine the way it is. The polka dot dress needs the sleeves cut 2 or 3 inches past the elbow. About to cut and sew that up that after I write this. It’s too much polka dot going all the way down the arm. By doing that it will have a cute ruffle and break up those dots some making it a much better summer dress. Thanks for reading and cheers to a cute dress!

Perfect Dress!
I love this dress sooo much I’m buying every color! It’s such a beautiful fall burnt orange color, comfy neckline, and super comfy material! Not see through but kinda thin so I wore an undergarment. It runs just a tiny bit big, but I wouldn’t size down if you like it flowy! I didn’t get pics while we were out but I got so many compliments! Buy this dress! Edited: I loved the orange so much that I bought another in the spring print! I wore it to girls brunch and got so many compliments. I paired with wedges w/our current weather. Hits right above knees...reviews said it was short but I didn’t find it too short at all. For reference I’m 5’3,169 and 34-D. I ordered the orange in a Large but since I’ve been working out and tightening up, I ordered the printed in Medium and it fit just fine! Don’t hesitate. Buy this dress!

Cute and vibrant if a little wrinkley

I'm not a vibrant clothes person, I'm not a loose fit person, but it was seventies day at work and this dress was available for next day shipping, so I went with it. First off, it's a wrinkled mess. Tried the damp-and-dryer, no luck. Tried wrinkle release, no luck. Even with the steamer it was rough. It needs an iron, I'm guessing. Fabric? Meh. Feels cheap, not terribly cool but not miserable in the heat. But the look??? I'm chesty. Things that hang straight down add a lot of size that doesn't match my actual body. I was concerned but I have gotten SO many compliments, I can relax my mom pooch and it doesn't show and yet I somehow don't feel like I look big thanks to the length showing off my legs. I'm 5'3", 135lbs, usually a size 4-6, and the small was perfect. I wasn't sure I was going to keep this dress beyond the decades day celebration, but I actually kind of love it.

Love hate relationship / possible counterfeit
I have ordered this dress from Amorteu in different colors, at least 5 of them. I Iooove them. I do wish they were more roomy in the chest/upper back, not enough stretch in that area. I could get away using a medium, but due to the chest/back area I get an Xtra large. This statement applies to the solid color ones. For the printed dress orange/blue/yellow. I order it from Amorteu but then the vendor name changes to Cosonsen once its in my cart. I bought it anyway bcuz I love the print its freaking gorgeous! However, I immediately noticed a huge difference. The material is very different, really thin, almost sheer, it's a such a light fabric that it lifts with the slightest breeze, a whistle would make it lift. Unlike, the solid color dresses (Amoretu), completely different material and won't lift with a slight breeze. The printed (cosonsen)one is almost a silky material, even has a little sheen to it. I couldn't tell you the fabric because there aren't any tags/labels on the garment, it only gives washing instructions. I returned it twice because the sizes were so off, tighter, shorter (and lot shorter), higher neckline and even a crooked neckline. Short biker shorts are a must with the printed dress from consonsen. I'm not sure if they are a knock off or bootleg version of Amoretu, but it's definitely not the same. The packaging was different, the letters on the package labels were foreign. Everything about it was just different. I really don't think the actual vendor is the same. But somehow Consonsen seems to be linked to Amoretu. Bottom line, take a double look at checkout if the vendor changes. Love the dress pattern and color combination but I think its a bootleg version. Its tight and big at the same time, high and crooked/ partial baggy neckline. Its a love hate relationship.
