  • Winered runs large... I sized it down X2
Size: 12.5 Women/11 Men Color: 1521-winered
Never worn the "C" brand so can't compare, but these are flexible enough to be comfortable while still having some reasonable arch support and much better than the old "flip flops" for walking the dog in the dark and just "kicking around" the house and yard. I slammed one of my toes on a table leg the other night walking around barefoot in the dark, and not having to endure any more tear-jerking accidents like that is well worth the cost of these "cover your toes" clogs. Hey, I noticed a good number of my summer school students wearing this style of clog as well, so maybe I will have a go at being old but "kewl at school" and see what happens... >> OK the size for me was way off on my first order as I am a 12.5 in athletic shoes but the WineRed color size 12 was like a pair of clown shoes and walking around in a pair of boats is not comfortable for me and they went right back. Looking at the sizing chart and measuring my feet (not a bad idea in the first place) it looked like the 10s would put my heel right down in the cup without any space behind it, maybe even a little too small but the 12s were sooooo much too big that I went ahead with the 10s. That was the right decision (lucky, really) and the 10s are comfortably loose all the way around with maybe 1/4 inch between my heel and the back of the foot cup (no blisters from rubbing - that's what I wanted) but not too "flippy" and the strap is there to use when desired and will stay up over my heel without being too tight - has a little bit of slack so I can tell the strap is there, but it is not rubbing or pulling on me as I walk. With all that said and reading the reviews about sizing issues - these particular clogs in this particular color run quite large if you order based on your shoe size without measuring against the sizing chart (which I should have done in the first place but ordering from Amazon at 2AM sometimes I miss the essential details). Whatever the deal is with how this style of clog is supposed to fit, I'm not good with super-loose boats on my feet, and like to know I have a pair of shoes on that I can feel when I wiggle my toes. I look forward to getting these "worn in" and molded to my feet in a few weeks, and see these filling the bill for a long time to come. Might try the "hot water" treatment (if needed) to warm them up, put them on, take a walk, and let them really mold to my feet. Maybe that will be something to do, maybe not - won't know for a couple of weeks but it's there if needed. OK that about wraps it up - everyone can keep going on about whether these are better/worse/same as the clogs they are "imitating" but I got what I wanted and there is always a way to spend more - I'm more interested in spending less when it meets the needs. ... show more

  • Just right
Size: 7 Women/6 Men Color: 1521-black
I love these garden clogs. They are actually working clogs for me. I can with stand long days of walking without foot strain. They are durable and slow just the right ventilation and support. Easy care wear. They fit as expected and are super comfortable.

  • Narrower/tighter fit than expected, but otherwise a decent shoe.
Size: 8 Women/6 Men Color: Armygreen
Full disclosure: I have wide feet, so I order up a half size any time I can't find the proper width. Usually that solves the width problem and makes most shoes comfortable - but that trick didn't work with these. I didn't dock any points for that, but something my fellow wide footers should be aware of. I'm hoping the more they are broken in the better the fit will be on this front. What I didn't find comfortable was the texture on the sole. It wasn't a problem with thin socks, but bare foot on the sole felt harsh. If you plan on wearing socks with it, this may not be a problem for you. I couldn't manage that due to the width issues. These felt a bit heavier than I expected, but not enough to be bothersome. I suppose it makes them feel a bit more solid. I don't think I'd trade the heavy soles for a lighter shoe though; I had no worries of the odd rock stabbing me through it as I walked on a gravel driveway. It really is a sturdy shoe. ... show more

  • The Perfect House Shoe!
Size: 8 Women/7 Men Color: 1521-black
I needed an alternative to my house slippers. I was tired of going outside with slippers on, having dew get into the cracks of the stitching and ruining the over all of the shoe. I opted for rubber clogs, as it's much easier to wash a wet sock than a wet shoe. These clogs are not attractive, but their functionally amazes me. They are comfortable enough for my liking, they calm my plantar fasciitis and keep my feet balanced (which helps with a problematic ankle). I don't know how well they handle on wet pavement, but they grip well on hardwood flooring. I'm happy with this purchase and may consider looking into Amoji's other styles, for outdoor wear. ... show more

  • They are a 5 Star, BUT READ REVIEW.
Size: 12.5 Women/11 Men Color: 1521-grey
5 Star! I wish I could keep them!! Seriously Here is why I’m not. My foot is the extremely common 11 Men’s shoe. When I go to the store, this is the size that is never in stock. I would consider my foot to be the average width and length, standard whatever that is. These have an arch that is slightly moved forward leaving the toe box short and the big toe pressing uncomfortably against the front of toe box. The rear is 3/4” to back from heal perfect. The toe box is also very wide! A size 12 will be too big, 10 will be too small. If you don’t have a flat arch or a forward arch these will be pretty uncomfortable for you. Sorry to the ladies, I don’t know how that translates for you. But if you fit a mans 11 that is never in stock, that is it. Blessings ... show more

  • Has the sizing changed?
Size: 11.5 Women/10 Men Color: 1521-black
I bought a pair of these 4 years ago and they fit and wore great. So great in fact that I went and bought a replacement pair. This pair seems smaller even though I bought the same size. Construction seems about the same. I don't think my feet have grown because all my other shoes fit the same and the old ones still fit although they were worn out. ... show more
