I got these because of the unique round part at the end of the stems. My housemate and I always seem to buy t he same style of readers so I figure with the unique round part at the end of the stems the problem will be solved. It is solved. Besides solving that issue I happened to get myself some really good glasses. I am always reading in bed at night and dozing off. I can’t say how many pairs of glasses I have destroyed this way. Both expensive and bargain cheapies. These have survived. They are well made and look go-old on. They look much more expensive than they are. I highly recommend these. ... show more

Carry them around with me everyplace in my shirt or pants pocket. Practical and easier than trying to keep up with one pair of reading glasses. The readers are effective, lightweight, and fairly comfortable (though I haven't tried wearing them for extended periods). They seem durable, too. Spring hinges are comfortable and keep the glasses from breaking too easily. I don't have a way to check if they block UV light, so I obviously don't use them as sunglasses. I do have a blue light tester and these do not appear to block blue light (which is fine, because they don't claim to--no stars off. ) The style will work for both men and women. The lens are very thick and "bulge" out of the lens section. To the point, that one fell out. Very disappointed as never had that problem before.
