I have smaller legs and thighs and carry my weight in my stomach so the legs were a little loose but if I pulled them up around the bottom of my calves it was fine. I sized up to a 3x because I'm xl/2x in shirts xl in pants. This was to tight around the waist still. I wanted a more baggie jumper so I sized up. I'd say if you want it on the baggie side and your stomach is also baggie size up extra.
