I purchased these to hide the mess from my neighbors yard while sitting on my deck. So far I have had no issues with ripping. I do have a shi tzu who tends run up and down the fence with the neighbors dog. And still no issues being that the other dog is able to reach the top of the fence. The fence does give good privacy, which is huge plus. Material is well made, very easy to put up. Did by myself for the most part. Two people is needed if your trying to be extra perfect as I was. This fabric was perfect for what we wanted to accomplish. Neighbor’s yard behind us is unkempt and after removing old bushes and delapidated wood fence it exposed a problem. We spruced up the area with new bushes and chain link fence but that left us with an eyesore. Purchasing this fabric was the best solution! Can’t see through it. After viewing some pictures from others that wrote reviews I knew I would like it to be very taught so we pulled it tight with zip ties included and then stretched as best we could to get wrinkles out. After that we pulled it down along the fence and place bricks on the fabric to keep it nice and firm. We also purchased tent stakes to stake it in but they weren’t needed after placing bricks on the bottom. I hope this helps others. ... show more

The dogs don't even notice when there are people on the other side of the fence. It was easy to put up but I would recommend have a set of hands to help so it remains straight on the end. Fence is 6’ high and I attached towards top so that I could still run trimmer along bottom and pup could still look out. Zip ties made it easy to stretch fairly tight and install. Only been up for a couple of weeks, but held up through higher winds once already.
