Box came heavily damaged and almost a week late. When it arrived it was missing a set of screws and all 4 legs were damaged. That being said amazon and ameriwood stood behind their product 100% and offered up some of the best customer service I have ever seen. I was able to secure replacement parts at no charge and they were delivered in a timely fashion and amazon made right on the late delivery and the damaged/ missing components. The bar was very easy to assemble but VERY time consuming. I did everyrhing as instructed and when all was said and done it took 10hours. I did it alone and did not have to “redo” anything along the way. The only minor hiccup was there was a set of 6 or 8 holes on the “table top” portion that were drilled totally incorrect so i needed to redrill them which slowed down the process slightly. When all is said and done it is a beautiful looking piece and is great quality for the price. Its very solid and sturdy which was my made concern being that its holding heavy wine and liquor bottles. It is built withstand the weight without issues and if u bang into it it does not shake, creak, or rock. Very sturdy. Great piece. I liked it so much i just ordered a coffee table to match! :)

Bar looks good. Shipping took ALOT longer than promised. Many delays. Expect 4-5 hours of assembly with two people. Necessary tools : flat head and Phillips screwdriver (or drill if you’re careful due to particle board). Instructions weren’t too bad. Similar to IK*A furniture instructions. Package is VERY heavy so expect slight damage upon delivery. Unless delivery person has a helper, he/she will undoubtedly be dragging package to your doorstep. Other than that, unit is sturdy and good bang for your buck.

I love this bar cabinet. It arrived quickly and with no damage. It took a few hours to assemble as there are a lot of different parts but the instructions are fairly easy to follow. I enjoyed assembling it but if you are impatient this may not be for you. It’s very sturdy once built and it looks beautiful!

Oh this thing looks great... in a picture or in theory. Took about a two weeks to arrive. Not too bad considering its size. Box was a little beat up because its a heavy object. Oh there were no instructions, sides, bottom rails, drawers, doors, 22 large pieces to be exact, 23 if you count the instructions (which for everyone info are on the companies website) ... amazon did a great job to refund me without the need for a return and now I have all these parts scattered around my apartment not able to assemble it and I have to throw it out.... so if anyone buys this and needs spare parts I might be able to help you out. Oh I also got two random screws that are not part of the unit so that was fun. I inventoried the whole thing and I have all the hardware I need just none of the pieces to put hardware into. Oh well might re-order if it goes on sale again because I thought it would look nice but honestly really mad I hauled this thing upstairs.

This cabinet isn't too bad, so long as you're handy. The quality of materials is good. It's particle board with a veneer, that's what you know you're getting and it's pretty decent. It's a very loose density of wood, so as you start to assemble; putting screws and dowels in and whatnot, it does start to chip and fall apart a bit. The actual assembly of this is pretty difficult. You need to get your hands into some seriously tight areas. And if you only use the tool provided, it's nearly impossible. If you have a screwdriver set, you'll be much better off. Almost all of the assembly stays loosely together until the very last steps. This means trying to assemble quite a few large, heavy, and cumbersome pieces in then end. A 2nd set of hands here is helpful. Unfortunately the worst part is the drawers and cabinet door. I made certain everything was assembled square and tight. The door rubbed against the bottom of the 2nd drawer it was so out of alignment. Worse than that though are the drawer slides. The hardware does not sit flush enough to even let the drawers go in and out. The screws from the drawer mount hit the screws from the cabinet mount. And even if you do get them to close fully, they're so crooked they contact each other, or the door. I ended up ordering some simple ball bearing drawer slides and retro fitting them to the drawers to get it all to work. It was a massive pain, but I was so far into the project there was no turning back, or attempting to return. So in the end, it could be a good cabinet, but you better be handy to get good fitment of the whole assembly.

I love the look and the size... but putting it together was a struggle for me. Luckily my boyfriend built furniture as a living for 3 1/2 years, cause when we were putting it together 3 of the dowels snapped and the front left leg block split clean down the middle. My boyfriend got handy with the screws and did what he could do to hopefully temporary fix it! If there was a way to get that piece and broken hardware replaced? I love it so much and want it to last as long as possible! It looks so good in our new house so of course it was upsetting when things started to break!
