Happy with this purchase overall, but it’s a bit expensive. It does look hand-made, and more like a piece of artwork than a mass-produced item, so that may account for the higher cost. I was expecting the wood to be a little thicker. It’s only about 1/4” thick, with 3 vertical 1/4” pieces on the back that tie the slats together. It has a classic distressed look that is well done, and it fits well in the room I wanted to hang it. The pictures I included make it look a bit darker than it does in person. The blue and red are slightly more faded. It is a little curved/warped, but it is bent outward in the middle, which is not very noticeable hanging on the wall. I was hoping that once it had been in a dry, conditioned environment it would flatten out, but after a few days it is still curved about 1/4”. Strangely the white slats are curved more than the red, but not a big deal and gives it a little bit of a 3D look.

I have been looking for a wooden flag as a piece of wall art for my pool room. I wanted one with a weathered look and this one fit the bill. Many of these flags are very artificially ‘weathered’ but this one is of better quality than most.

Saw this wooden flag and just knew it was a perfect gift for my special someone who is a veteran. I did not know the wrong flag (pictured) was delivered until after the return window had closed. The flag sent error does not have the same meaning as the old red, white and blue would have. Very disappointed.
