First, I love this faucet -- the spout sits quite a bit taller than our previous bath faucet which I very much prefer. It's kind of modern for our standard sink (as my husband put it), but we still love it. I don't have to bend down to wash my hands. The install ( I did it myself ) was a breeze except for my lack of attention on the length of the supply lines (more on that later). I will buy another American Standard faucet for the speed connect drain alone -- it's pure genius! No rods or metal screws to deal with, you simply take the cartridge and twist it into the drain connection. The pop-up drain seals better than any of the faucets we have in our house! The drain was also great in that I didn't have to use plumbers putty. Love this! I didn't have one leak after install. I also love that American Standard has been lead free since 2009. The only issue I had was that I didn't pay attention to the length of the already connected supply lines to the faucet. It was 4" to short to reach my water valve. Thus, I had to make a trip to Home Depot to get 12" (the shortest they had) of 3/8 supply line to connect the faucet supply lines to the water valve. So, double-check the length of your current supply lines, so you know if you need additional parts ahead of time. I also installed this with the recommended American Standard 2000.102P.002 Ceramix Escutcheon Plate Only, Polished Chrome and it worked great. ... show more

    • Beware; there is no deck plate.
Beautiful faucet, but will not work for me because it has no deck plate to cover the two holes in my bathroom countertop. That piece of information is nowhere in the amazon listing. There are images of the faucet WITH a deck plate, so I assumed that it came with. When the it arrived, the instructions inside the box state that the deck plate is an option that must be purchased separately. I really wanted to keep the thing so I went on amazon again and looked for the deck plate and could not find one for sale. Unfortunately I must return the item. This could have been avoided if the seller had simply included this information. ... show more

I purchased this to replace a failed American Standard Espana faucet because despite the “lifetime warranty” American Standard did not replace the failed faucet and I like the ez connect pop up drain feature.
