Everything seems in order. Came with some basic equipment needed to safely operate the furnace. Came with the furnace(fully insulated), a fire brick, a big crucible, the propane fittings as well as tongs, gloves and a mold. The gloves are the thick type you see welders and hazmat drivers with. I wouldn't touch anything hot for too long but they'll save your skin. The tongs look handmade out of rebar and galvanized. It should go without saying but use outdoors or in a well ventalated environment. Galvanizing is done by electroplating with zinc and zinc evaporates with heat to make toxic gases.

Item did not get up to temperature . Would not melt aluminum . Went through entire tank id propane trying to get to temperature. Paint peeled and fire insulation peeled off shell first use after curing even.

This is such horrible construction and poor quality materials it's unbelievable! I am embarrassed for the manufacture. Thin metal like tissue paper. Thr crucible is soft to the touch. The leather gloves are probably the best part of the entire unit. Valve 3.99. Its not returnable so I am stuck with it. I am honestly nervous to use it from a safety standpoint. After using it I have re evaluated my assessment of this product. It works well. The crucible firmed up on baking. You can still see my thumb print in it. The insulation blankets are coming apart and getting in the melted metal. They will need to be coated. Don't buy the black painted one as the paint fumes are horrible even outdoors. For the 100$ it's a place to start. I like the propane valve and hose quiet a bit. The tongs are useless. The ingot mold is good for about 3 uses. All better than I hoped for. Plan on a full rebuild and new crucible at 15 to 20 uses.

Tried to melt some stranded copper wire and after using two 30lb tanks of propane, it still was not melting. I don’t know that this thing would even melt an aluminum can. If it worked well, I would love to have something like this as I have lots of use for it, however, it did not perform as intended or as stated on the description.

This small melting furnace did not meet my expectations.the temperature is inconsistent,and it takes much longer than advertised to melt metal.After using it a few times,I noticed that it started to develop small cracks. During use,it is not very stable, so it need to be placed in a very safe and secure location.Overall,I would not recommend this product to beginners
