Silky smooth feel, not a big finger print magnet, very easy to clean. This is a pretty great protector. The anti glare is good, but I wish it were a little stronger. Moderate to major glare still gets through but it does excel with lower light glares. Installation was smooth sailing, just follow the directions to the T. Suggestions: with all screen protectors, use gloves, first and foremost. It's very easy to put prints on your clean surface if not. Put this on in a room that has little to no dust and no moving air. I used Zeiss cleaner and a high quality lens cleaning cloth before applying and I kept post it notes on hand. Sometimes dust settles on the screen right as you go to apply; if you see that, hold the protector close to the screen with one hand, and use the sticky on the post it note to gently tap on and remove the dust particles. If you have dust on your screen, you're going to have bubbles. Maybe not right away, but over time certainly. This is true for every film or glass protector out there. Really impressed with this screen protector. I tested a few anti-glare protectors, and was always left disappointed with the impact to visual clarity. This screen protector provides a nice balance between the anti-glare properties without adding too much softness to the image. More specifically, and compared to the other screen protectors I tested, it doesn’t add nearly as much “graininess” to the image, which can be noticeable around white objects, text, etc. Keep in mind that you will still notice some minor softness to the image, and your tolerance for this might vary. Additionally, with any anti-glare screen, blacks might appear slightly elevated in a bright environment since the light is effectively being displaced or defused across the screen — this is the tradeoff you’re making for anti-glare. All in all though, really impressed and highly recommend his protector as long as you understand the potential tradeoffs. Also had no issue with the installation (just make sure you get all the dust off). ... show more

I'm using this on the 512GB Steam Deck with an etched screen that this product technically isn't rated for. Installation wise, it was fairly simple, but was a pain to get under it and pull back up if you flubbed it up the first time. There's nothing in the box to help you set it (or remove it), you just have to have a steady hand. Once you do get under it though, it was easy to remove and put back into place with no residue or damage to the screen or protector. While the touchscreen on the steam deck isn't all the great to begin with, I didn't notice any reduction in sensitivity while playing. Probably the best feature of this protector is it's anti-fingerprint and oil resistant. My hands get real sweaty and oily while playing and I constantly had fingerprints and smears all over my steam deck. Those are no more with this screen protector which is fantastic. The antiglare is about as good if not minimally better than the etched screen. The only issue is, being a matte protector on top of an already etched screen, you get an expected but nonetheless noticeable fuzziness/muddiness/reduction in sharpness (whatever you want to call it). If I were to give an example it's like going from 800p (steam deck resolution) to 640p. Not enough so that it looks "bad" or you can't read text and what-naught; it is still a decent playable experience. However, it is enough that the screen doesn't look HD anymore. Some people, this may be a turnoff and you may want to look elsewhere (not that any other matte screen would likely do any better); but if you use your Steam Deck primarily as an emulation machine like I do where base resolution is lower anyway, this probably won't affect you much. So while the reduction in sharpness isn't a deal breaker for me, it does make me want to compare and contrast other screen protectors, even non-matte ones, to see if the antiglare is worth keeping over the sharpness reduction. Overall the product did what it was designed to do, and I can't fault it over something it wasn't rated for. ... show more

After being dissapointed with another antiglare screen protector that only covered the middle of the screen. This one covers the full bezel, with only the slight gap between the plastic body of the device and the protector. Installation was easy and forgiving, I actually forgot to clean the screen with the provided alcohol wipe and had a bit of dust in the top corner of the screen. This was super noticeable, and I debated starting over with the second protector they provided in the box. But decided to try to fix it first. I lifted the corner with the dust and gentally scraped it away with a guitar pick, and reapplied it. It looked worse at after some massaging and letting it warm up while i played some games, the bubbles disappeared. As for the Matte anti glare effect, its good. Yes the picture looks slightly softer, but for me its much easier to see now without all the glare. ... show more

I have a Steam Deck OLED model that I bought when they came out late last year. I decided to put a screen protector on it because even though I'm careful - the screen is so beautiful on this device that I would heart broken if anything happened to it. I normally purchase the more expensive brands of screen protectors when it comes to protecting my devices, but I saw how expensive they have gotten (like almost 40 dollars) and decided to give this a try. The instructions were easy. I only had to lift it once and reset it to get nearly all of the bubbles out and the last bubbles worked themselves out over a couple days of use.
