I never snowshoed before and wanted a winter exercise. These were a great price (compared to cross country skis). They are easy to put on over ANY shoe or boot, lightweight too. My tip is to bring the poles with you until you get the hang of it. It's difficult to get up in deep snow. Not only are they less $ than skis, you can snowshoe anywhere- no groomed trail needed. The bindings are plastic so they will probably wear out, but mine are going strong after two winters. Buy them, you will love it! ... show more
