I like that it has a handle. I just gifted a 9 old a tablet with this case. I don't think he has dropped it yet but so far so good. I like the look but it was very expensive in my opinion. The kid proof ones for the fire 7 are a fraction of the cost. It seems sturdy and well made. The size is good for an older kid. 8 through 14 or so.

The media could not be loaded. I got this for my son’s tablet and it fits perfectly! The handle is big enough to carry around for him and me. It’s not rubberized but it does seem sturdy. The design is super cute. By itself it is not heavy! Seems great to protect this tablet! Will I buy again? Yes. Will I recommend it to others? Yes! Even if you don’t love it just keep it for a just in case moment.

I bought this for my grandson Las Christmas. I also purchased the blue case separately. I would never buy him a tablet without a case! For a 4-year-old it would get broken probably right away! It's basically a fire tablet with a case It works great he loves it It is now October 10th and the volume buttons he handed to me the other day. We have yet to put them back but it does not seem to bother him in the least. I bought his sister the next one up and she got herself in a bit of trouble and isn't using it right now. SMH that was kind of a waste of money for her, when her mother is using it more than she is allowed to. But I would buy both of these tablets again these fire tablet seem to be pretty well made and can withstand a lot of bumping, throwing down, and generally being thrown around.
