As a semi-sweet chocolate chip it has distinctly "neutral", and "fresh" flavor. And it holds its own in richness, chocolate-ness in comparison to best known brand in the semi-sweet category. Two different chips, two different tastes - this is a very good or better option if the better known brand is not similarly priced per ounce / per 24oz (1.5 lbs) / per 72oz (4.5 lbs).

We love these chocolate chips! I purchased them to use in my grandmother's peanut butter chocolate chip cookie bars, which I have; but I also indulge post run 🏃♀️ to replenish my energy and satisfy my sweet tooth. The price is competitive and the sweet satisfaction is well worth it!

I've been trying various Amazon brand groceries to see where I could save some money. These chips were really good, at least as good as Tollhouse, but cheaper. I wouldn't hesitate to use Amazon chips in my baking. I have not tried using them for melting yet though

They were a great addition when making chocolate banana bread. They are also so yummy on their own. I had to stop myself from eating them. 😋

The chocolate chips I usually buy (Guittard) had a price increase, I thought I would try the Amazon brand. Very good quality. I'll use these chips for baking.

Used this to mold gingerbread chocolate houses and it is a disaster. The flavor is fine, but it's simply not even mediocre quality. If you are using for baking, it's fine, and half the cost of the decent stuff, but if you are trying to make chocolates / molds with it, it really is not a good use of time or resources. Get the better stuff. The white chocolate was the worst of the lot (it was almost like cookie dough), the semi-sweet almost useable, but still came out terrible. I should have known better, I was making a lot and trying to save some money since the chocolate will be covered with other decorations. It works, but it was a lot more trouble than it would have been with good chocolate.
