I bought the Fire HD8 tablet specifically because of the ability to use a charging dock without having to connect a USB cord to the tablet to recharge it. When I read the product description and other reviews for the available Fire HD8 cover, I was not sure if the cover had to be removed from the tablet in order to use the charging dock, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the cover was designed to give full contact between the charging dock and the tablet without having to remove the cover. I bought the new Fire HD8 and the charging dock as I have had problems with getting a good connection with the USB charging cord after a year or two on previous tablet models. I also like that when you use the cover. The tablet turns off (or goes into a sleep mode) without pushing any buttons. Just close the cover. When you open the cover at a later time, it will go right to the place you previously left off reading without having to press buttons and navigate through menus to find where you left off. Getting a cover for the Fire 8 is not a necessity, but it makes using the tablet a much more pleasant experience. The cover helps protect your investment and also helps keep it clean and makes it a little easier to hold. The cover is magnetic to help hold it closed or to hold the cover in place for when you fold the cover flap so you can use it as a stand to hold the tablet up when using it on a table. I highly recommend that anyone who owns a Fire HD8 should also purchase the cover designed to use with the Fire 8. It is well worth the money.

I love the look and feel of these Amazon cloth covers so much, that I have purchased one for each of my Kindle/Amazon Fires (5). The covers seem to hold up very well, easy to clean, great color choices and no need to press the power button thanks to the magnetic clasp which turns the tablet on/off simply by opening or closing the cover.

Amazon kindle.......a great device to have in your own privacy. Let me break it down like this. It's less books in the house, it's less books to carry around and more books than ever to have at your time of privacy. When i first heard about kindle I didn't know what it was and ebooks didn't appeal to me at that time when they first came out. I wasn't sure . So I brought a kindle to get a feel for it and I was happy like a dog wagging it's tail. This is the next generation technology for books. Now that Amazon has so many versions of kindle, I like them to step it up with more improvement for education. I have a ideal for Amazon for there next kindle to come out. I like them to create a new kindle call, kindle tutorial, where the user can access online education , have access to the course materials and learning institutions networks. This new model is kindle reader and kindle write in one. It will allow the user to read and do course content, and take the education around with him/her were ever he/she goes.Also the device will allow the user to download textbooks and do the exercises and check the answers at the same time. Being that questions are multiple choice. Let us remember that Reading is fundamental and self education is beneficial. So let's go Amazon and make work.
