I have to confess that I was skeptical about buying tees from the Amazon Essentials brand. But I intended to use them as sleep shirts with some shorts that I bought at the same time. Wow! Was I pleasantly surprised. These are excellent quality. These are nice enough to wear during the day.. The fabric is very soft but not cheesy and thin and the stitching on the seams and collar is much better than tees I have paid four or five times as much. I've been searching high and low for my favorite white t-shirt, so I saw this and loved that it came with white and black shirts. This isn't my favorite t-shirt ever, but don’t get me wrong, 2 of these shirts for $13 is a steal!! The shirt has a LOT of stretch to it. Like you pull it a little and it'll snug right back to its OG place. If you love that feel then this is your shirt, hands down. Also the shirt is longer than my other t-shirts, but when I tuck it into my jeans it still sits really nicely and doesn't look or feel like there is too much fabric bunched up. I got it in both a small and medium. In the pictures, I'm wearing a black scrunchie on my wrist for the Medium shirts. I chose to keep the smalls. I got these to wear underneath sweaters and things. The fabric is thinner than I'd hoped, and they are a little longer than I would like (since I'm wearing them under something else), but they will work. The fabric for men's tees from Amazon Essentials seems to be a bit heavier. I wish these were the same. They will work for what I need. But they are not all that impressive as t-shirts. ... show more

The 2 colors I received were very nice and I liked them. The shirts are very stretchy but they also fit tight which is not what I wanted. Great price and variety but don't buy them if you are trying to conceal any rolls in the front or back.

I’m VERY picky about finding good basic tees for myself, and I love these and will absolutely be buying more! I have only worn them a couple times so far, so will update at some point in the future, but here are the boxes I look to check off, which these shirts met all of! - Comfortable - These are very soft and tagless. My only worry is how these will feel in the summer, as I think I might get too hot in them, but we’ll see. - Length - I’m very large chested, so most shirts are too short on me. These are perfect! - Crew/scoop neck not too low - My chest gets blotchy for pretty much any emotion I have, so these are perfect to cover up but also not choke me - Wash well - They haven’t shrunk or gotten wonky at any of the hems - No pilling - Still new, but I’m soooo tired of my clothes pilling, and these look really promising! - Flattering - These definitely are! Its a soft shirt, but its boxy. I thought I bought the wrong size at first. I'm 5'6 130lbs. I bought a medium. It's ok I guess. It hits a bit shorter than I would like. I think its supposed to flare a bit for women's hips, but because it doesn't fall right, it just looks unflattering in how it sits. Its tight around my arms, but loose at the bottom. I mostly was looking for a plain t shirt to wear with my scrub bottoms for work, but I'm wearing it now with leggings and a cardigan. Not a good call. I'll probably tie it on the side and make it a crop top. Kinda disappointed. I think a size up would be way to big, so I'm not going to return it. ... show more

These shirts are nice, and soft. The material is stretchy and has a slight chemical smell. It fit as expected at first. However, after washing it does shrink slightly. This is shown in the picture. This is my second purchase and it shrunk both times. I recommend one go up a size.
