At $34 these jeans are a good value for the cost. Fabric is a decent thickness, the fit is pretty good (slightly tight in the thighs), pockets are on the short side, and the button hole need’s reinforcing, because it’s getting bigger after wearing a few times. Colors are good with me.

    • Surprisingly comfortable jeans

I lost some weight recently (thank you, thank you), and I'm at the point of needing to size some clothes down, but not quite ready to buy a whole new wardrobe. I picked these jeans up thinking "maybe they'll be good enough to fill in the gap until I'm ready to spend the big bucks." Well surprise! These jeans are actually ridiculously comfortable and feel plenty durable. The stitching is solid, with no dropped stitches or dangling threads. The denim is good quality, but not as thick as some jeans I've bought in the past--and I mean that as a good thing, because I've bought some HEAVY jeans, that even at the right size required a belt to keep them up. These are nice, light jeans that feel good on me. I got the straight leg, but that still curves just enough that they look a bit fashionable, rather than the "dad jeans" I've worn for too long to try to hide my body shape. They sit mostly comfortably at the hips, although they're a bit lower waisted than I'm used to, so if I pull them up where they feel "right" then I quickly regret it. Honestly, I'm probably going to buy a few more pairs of these and wear them until I need to size down again. Another win for Amazon Essentials! ... show more

Everything about these are great. The feel, color, price, everything. But they run large. On me, with Levi 501 regular non-stretch jeans, I need a 38" waist. Even then the 38" Levis are tight. I ordered a 38" pair of these, and they were way too loose. I tried washing them to see if they shrink, but I don't think they changed size, still too loose. So I ordered a 36" waist pair of these, and they are very comfortable and fit in the way I like them to fit. I suggest go one size down. Mostly because they are very stretchy.
