The description says that the pants are supposed to be tapered but in my opinion they are from far tapered. They definitely fit and look like a straight fit. Disappointed and will be returning them.

These pants are very good, but not great. The price is good and the quality is good. I would say that these do have an athletic fit, as the fit in the thighs is just right. I have a fairly athletic build( 5'6, 160, 16%bf equally proportioned) and they fit snug but not uncomfortably snug in the thighs, just right I'd say. I would say that these pants fit longer than most pants I have owned. I typically wear a 30 length (primarily because that's the shortest most brands have), so when I saw 28 length I was pretty happy thinking I could have a no break style. When I received the pants they fit more like a 30 length. The pants opening is a good size too and will be most versatile with most shoes you wear. I however have decided that I will taper the length and the opening to work better with loafers and monks. I do like the crease in the pants as that adds some formality and versatility in my opinion. I have not washed any pairs yet so I don't know if they will shrink. My tailor said that she will wash them for me then do the tapering. Overall I am happy with these pants, so much so that I bought 5 pairs (black, olive, stone, khaki, and navy). I wish the khaki had more contrast to the stone and was more of a British Khaki. I also wish they had a light gray. I may get the taupe. Overall, if you are starting a work wardrobe, I think this would be an excellent place to start. **update: I did not taper the pairs I got but did shorten the length with a tailor. She thought the opening it comes in was good. I'm glad I agreed. It's a very versatile leg opening as it works with loafers but also chukkas.

Love the quality, color, sizing, and material - but the image shows a man wearing a slender cut pair of pants. These pants are FAR from being slender cut like the images. Otherwise, they're awesome style (for 2005 maybe).

I have many pairs of pants literally 10 times what I paid for these, and I just love these. I've always had an issue where the rise of off the rack pants was too small, with a 32in waist and just a touch over 6ft, it just feels like pants are not made for people who have a slim waist, as the rise is always so short it squeezes the crotch uncomfortably (especially when sitting down). while these pants could stand an extra inch or so in the rise, I've yet to find a pair that is this good (ordered 32x31, athletic fit). the stretch is subtle, but as a whole the pants is comfortable. I will surely buy more in the future.

These were....not Amazon's best moment. I've bought other Goodthreads clothing and Buttoned Down clothing. Found all of them to be of excellent quality and great value when compared to their competitors. That said, this was...a miss. These were about a full size too long on a 32, very, very large in the seat, and, in general, a wrinkled mess. Had to press them after wash and dry and then, when I took them out of my suitcase on a work trip, they were...a mess again. Within 2 hours of wear at the office, I looked like a slob. Not good. Don't recommend.

At first, I was really impressed with the slightly heavier-duty FEEL of these pants. I had high hopes they’d last me a while, based on first impressions. Unfortunately I was wrong. Within about two months they already have tears, holes, and rather significantly faded areas. I don’t even wear them daily, for I rotate about 4-5 different pairs of khakis throughout the work weeks. It’s pretty upsetting these barely lasted.

I really like these pants when I first got them. I have athletic thighs so it was refreshing to have pants that are well fitted and tapered but not too restrictive. Unfortunately, the crotch started pilling after the first wash. Not sure how long these pants will last but for the price I guess it’ll be easy to replace.

I didn't like anything about these pants, they're just not for me I guess. the way they were cut and the look: I felt like I was a 45 year old trying to look like a highschool gangsta wanna be. way too much material and I felt like the material they were made from felt cheap. the color also was a lot more vibrant in the Showcase photo on the app. in certain lighting I cant tell that these pants are green. I'm giving them 2 stars because the are very well stitched and if you were into the pants they would most likely hold up for a solid 5 to 7 years without showing there she.
