I wanted 100% cotton, white towels with NO imprint. I cannot stand an imprint across my towels. I like a nice simple border…on both ends, not just one. No patterns, no waffles, no popcorn. They’re towels, not snacks:-) These have a nice simple edge that doesn’t take up much of the towel. I also don’t like really heavy, bulky towels, but I don’t want them to feel like shop rags either. These are just right. They are VERY fluffy and soft. I took a shower and used one after just one washing and it felt like a soft blanket. I decided to wash them a second time because they were almost too soft (I’m used to old scrubby towels). There was a difference after the second washing. Still soft, just not so poofy. OK, I will tell you…on each corner, there is a tiny bit of thread where the stitching ends….where they didn’t cut it off. It might not bother some people, but I just snipped them all off. I like to cut off the tags also. There WILL be a LOT of lint in your lint trap the first few washings. I’ve honestly never had new towels that didn’t pack the lint trap. The lint didn’t come off in my washer, but I dried them on LOW for 20 minutes and stopped and cleaned the lint trap. I dried them 20 more minutes and cleaned the lint out again. I decided to wash and dry them a 2nd time. Still a lot of lint, but not as much. Definitely clean your lint trap a few times during the drying cycle at first until the lint issue calms down. The good news is….the lint didn’t come off on ME while I was drying off after my shower. I ordered 2 sets of these and liked them so much, I ordered a 3rd set. At under $4 per piece, they’re a deal. Also…LAUNDRY 101…because I read some reviews…..:-) -Don’t wash towels with anything else. You’ll get lint on your clothes and snags on your towels…especially with zippers, buttons, snaps, etc. -Don’t mix colors. -Don’t use fabric softeners or fabric sheets. It messes up the absorbency and coats your laundry with chemicals.

Finally, a towel of reasonable weight and size - in an era of towels so heavy & huge you worry that your towel bar will fall off. And mushy soft as plush toys. The size and weight of these are right on spot, but I did remove a star because they're a bit too soft for my taste - I prefer the healthy feel of exfoliation. Also, I wish the threads were a tad longer.

This is the perfect bath towel. Large enough to cover ample hips without being a ridiculously sized bath sheet. The thickness is comfortable; leave the thick towels at the spa. Washes and dries beautifully. Lint in the drier as expected. Neatly hemmed. And did I mention, snow white? I sent all my old towels to the animal shelter. The dogs thank you.

These washcloths meet all the criteria: easy to wring out by hand, not too thick to wipe out an ear, resilient in continued use, don't deteriorate or fall apart, launder nicely and are affordably priced. This is my third order of them over a period of several years, as I use some and give some of them away. Would continue to buy and enthusiastically recommend them.
